Started this game in 2010,
yet only played it now and then.
The game for me, Tiger Woods 08,
the funky flash game had to wait.
Life got busy, the game long forgotten,
nine years later, I stumbled back on it.
Had to start over from the beginning,
didn’t take long, my head again spinning.
A lot has changed from what I remember,
for there is no more a Hooter’s contender.
Another thing noticed, Flash was no more,
long time players were grieving and sore.
The new version came with nothing to stop it,
some kept playing, some promptly stopped it.
All and all the new version’s not bad,
some things work better, some things still sad.
I often wonder had I stayed from the start,
would friendships be with original old farts.
Reading the forums these last couple years,
Feel like I know the starting pioneers.
Some are warm and eager to help,
Some are still as stubborn as hell.
Some are friends outside the game,
ones that seem hard are actually great.
Some advice for players just starting,
read the forums before your departing.
