The rules say that both players have to agree to the clock & the apparel - but they do not say that they have to agree to have their game broadcast on public media ... I do not want my World Cup game broadcast on public media for my own reasons ... but I have been told to basically 'suck it up' by SEL ... I'm sorry but I will play ... but I am not sure why some things are negotiable and others not?
if the player is not happy about playing to an audience even though they do not have to watch then either concede the game or find a replacement,
That is unfair and a coercion, it does not seem honest to me... well, a shame to feel obliged to make your game public, those players who do it habitually will have an advantage in the game over those who don't want to, since these are not accustomed and their game will be affected without a doubt.

can we draw a line on this now please.
i respect players wishes if they dont want to have others watching their game but the sole idea of what the world cup is about is people meeting having fun and if others can watch and have a bit of banter between each other then great.
in all the streams i have seen no one has said anything negative about the other player unless they know them personelly.
if a player doesnt like the idea of being watched then step back till next round not everyone streams.
no more comments now lets move on
