Sorry if mentioned before but I've only just noticed it. When you hover above the WGT Community link at the top of the page, then choose Courses, you get a choice of course and a choice of hole. Very useful for practising.

Not useful at all if it doesn't let you select the proper tee or, at least, automatically put you on the correct tee for your tier.  Extremely lame.

I do love this new feature but I would like it where I could choose my tees and green speed or if it would default to my current tier. Not much use practicing a tee shot from the hack tees only to be playing it from the TM tees. Just my 2 cents.

Yes Piztaker this is a great addition.  Basically could be used as a practice area for all things.  Won't need a practice green anymore, but maybe a driving range from TruGolf down the line? :)

For you dummies who complain cause of shorter tees and 1 green speed.  Ever heard of laying up your shot from the tee to the average distance your drive usually lands?  You can still practice scrambling shots as well just realize for faster greens all you have to do is subtract a few ft or whatever the shot demands.  If you are smart you can figure this out.  Plus who knows, give it time maybe they will add more settings.

It could be great, but is close to useless as is.

how hard could it be for WGT to put you on your tier tees? I'm not retarded. I know I can tee off with an iron. not the same. there are also holes where I'd like to work on the tee shot.

Ever think of others and not yourself?  For newcomers to the site this feature is absolutely a blessing.

All i hear is blah blah whining, same ol bs people never satisfied with what they got.  Complain, complain about everything cause something about your life sucks.

I do not mean to single you out, this goes out to the mass complainers that there are on this site.  No offense...what!? I said no offense. (*thinking)"why does that never work"

    lol if nothing else..

yupps there's some plebs on here.

    i think it's a great idea.

it's the closest thing folks have for a practise area.....where you can choose any hole and play it till you're balls turn blue.

who gives a crap about the tees......how about practising the approaches and learning the greens.

any imbecile can drive a ball...it's the approaches and putting that matter.

    <edit> i'm just waiting on Lee22Sharon to add his nickles :) </edit>

Step one,  put it out there.

Step  two,  find out what's wrong with it.

    Step three,  make some adjustments

Patience everyone.  Along with some constructive criticism.

Playing just one of those holes satisfies the CDP bonus, too.

I agree it really is quite useless as a practice area for me.  Hitting any shot to standard greens is quite different than hitting to tournament greens and forget about practicing putting when you get Tournament greens to putt on all the time.  About the only practical use I see is measuring the carry of your clubs under different spin selections and wind conditions.

Those above that asked for choice of tees and choice of tees are actually serving the whole community and not only themselves.
