  Does moving the mouse north ad south or east and west have any bearing on distance and or direction?

  - If you're referring to where you put the aiming box/arrow then Yes and No. Yes where you put it East/West will affect which direction the ball goes. North/South will not affect the distance. 

  - If you're asking if moving the mouse around after having hit the shot and it's in the air, then No it won't do anything. 😆

  Not in WGT.  What you're describing sounds like how it works in PGA TOUR 2K21 if you use a mouse.  WGT's swing mechanics and controls are much simpler.
