You say you did a fresh install of WGT, was that using an old installer file ( WGTLauncher.msi ) or a new download?

Is the game playable in 'windowed' mode?

In that mode does it still not fit your screen?

In 'windowed' mode have you tried to maximize the window through the task manager?

I made a resolution picker a while ago. You could try that to get a resolution that fits your screen.

First question - no, bottom portion is cut off by the taskbar (also the answer to Second question)

Third question - not sure how to use the task manager, but I'll go check it out now.

The resolution picker might be the fix. Does it need to run every time I open WGT? or will WGT remember the resolution I finally land on?

How to use the task manager to achieve a maximized window is the second link in my first post on the previous page.

I don't use the resolution picker myself and any game updates may change the way my stuff works, so I can't say for sure if you would have to use it every time the game is run.

LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE A WINNER!

The resolution picker worked perfectly, Scott. Thank you so much for saving my game. I know the resolution I need, so if updates resets things, it's an easy fix to get back to normal. BTW, I closed the resolution picker program and no change to the window. Also, I closed the window and when I reopened the game, it opened up to the resolution I had picked. Well done, buddy!

Your reputation proceeds you, when I first posted this issue, I was kinda hoping that you would see it.

Thank you Sean. I'm never really sure whether things will work so it's always a bit of a stab in the dark. Thanks again and have fun.  ; )

Happy that the problem is solved, enjoy the game!!

For the archive, i believe the problem lies on a setting of your GPU. Are you running a dual GPU system (integrated intel graphics + amd separate GPU)? If so, you need to see which one your system is using. You can do it by going to task manager. If for instance (as in 99% of the cases happens) your system is using the integrated graphics, AMD gpu just sitting there without doing anything...
