If it takes taking notes to become really good, I'd rather be so-so.

I used to.....but changed clubs so many times I didn't want to do it again...too lazy I guess.  But now it's all feel.

Maybe on ctth/blitz notes but the hell with it lol.

Now its a tiny cheat sheet for stuff like hitting pitch/chip/flop shots from various lies.   And a wind yardage estimation that seems to not work anymore with the equipment I am using.

I have 3 documents in text edit.

One is my wedge notes which has the wedges mapped out for every yardage from 120 down to 6 yards. I also included how far each go out of rough percentage lies but have many missing lies and distances in those sections.

Another is my irons and how far each goes with full bs and no bs and a few other odd shots that seemed to come up more than 5 or 6 times.

And lastly is a wind strength chart.

I played for probably close to a year before I started taking notes. Best thing I ever did to improve my game. And once you get the clubs mapped out the notes never really need changed. Assuming you don't switch out clubs, of course.

Papers?  We have no stinking papers.

Some of us play by feel, and yes. the authorities have been in contact.

    Yet we still play.

    Enjoy")
