As the Open is a fixed rota if we are lucky we may nonetheless have all of the courses at some point within a few years.
I think there are 9 courses on the Open rota. We have RSG and STA already, but it would still take another 7 or 8 years probably for all the other courses to get here. Personally, I don't mind not having all the Open courses, just the best of them - mainly Turnberry, Birkdale, Carnoustie and Muirfield.
I also agree about putting the "World" into "World Golf Tour". Even if it is just done with a few CTTH courses. Royal Melbourne is probably the obvious choice from Australasia, and the golfing community in Asia is growing rapidly with several large tournaments being held on excellent courses over there.
As for Canada, there are some spectacular courses up in the mountains, although my pick would be the National Golf Club of Canada course. However, it is male-only and extremely exclusive in real life and has only ever held one Tour tournament I think.
And all this is not forgetting the exciting prospect of TruGolf developments. Well. Maybe not.
Jack.
