  How can my average go up if i play a practice round?  I thought it had to be a ranked round. Ty

  Beware the tourney name…

  If you click on your score history, and then click on that Pebble Beach “Unlimited Free Practice” tourney you played, you’ll see it’s a “Stroke Play” round…which isn’t practice.  That’s why your average rose after playing and finishing it.

  Also because of Saturation it doesn't really matter if your score goes up due to a bad score now and again. It will eventually be thrown out of your AVG calculation and replaced by a lower score. Don't stress out if your AVG goes up a bit here and there. In the end it will all work out and those scores won't make any difference as they will not be used in your AVG calc.
