Please Change the Putting Grid Back!

  The upgrade has caused a major bug on the greens. Wheen putting your grid dissappears altogether! Please fix this ASAP!!!

  Track, Have you flushed your cache for your browser and flash player?

  Also, if you have the grid set to off, it's SUPPOSED to turn off AS you putt. (causes less meter lag) It can be turned back on under the game options.

  I have flushed out the flash, browser, and c drive caches to no avail. My grid is set to "on", but when drawing back, the grid dissappears.

  In options, it says it wont disappear until you hit the ball. That's NOT what is happening!

  Faterson, Alex, someone please explain this or fix it fast! Its causing me to play horribly and not wanting to spend 1 more dime until it is back to normal. Someone please email when this has been addressed!

  Track, can you explain why you want the grid on while you are swinging?  I would suggest learning to putt with it off, your scores in the long run will likely be better without all the extra lag.

  Most of us LOVED it when they gave us the option of turning off the grids.

  I use the grid lines as reference points so as to add the right power to the club head. Based on the angle of the break, I aim for a designated line on the grid.

  The new screen doesn't even allow me to turn off or on the putting grid. Ive played with others who are experiencing the same problem. Even when "Turned off" the grid lines are still present.

  Can someone PLEASE provide some insight?

  I am not sure what issue you are describing. Is the putting grid are you trying to get the grid to turn on or off?

  i'm having same trouble,,dumped all the cache's and turned it to on in options,,when u start power back on the putts,,the grid goes off,,use to it did'nt go off till u clicked and the putt started rolling,,i do not move the line on putts but miss the meter early or late to get my line,,i like haveing the putting grid there on the down swing so i can get the meter click in the right spot.

  We will look into this issue.  When the putting grid option is selected to be on, it should still show the grid for the entire putt.  Thank you for the report.

  Not always so, BB. I play with it on and am totally screwed up putting now. I reported it in the bug forum this AM. I have zero lag because of that grid and use it every putt. Sure, I guess I could learn not to but why?( I already bailed on this week's free multi after I got to 6 over through 13.)

  Please reinstate it WGT.

  To each their own I guess, I still cannot wrap my head around any potential benefits of leaving it on.  Have you guys read niv's putting guide?
