    Hi Bootsie,

are you sure the parings for Round 2 are right?

Iam chessplayer and i know the Swiss System from that way very well.

We have 34 teams which won and 34 teams which lost the first round.

In my opinion teams which won (5-0) should play against others which won (5-0).

For example in Game 24 IGCC White play against Yorkshire CC -B Round 2. IGCC White won the first match 3-2 and Yorkshire CC -B lost  0-5.

Would be great to check the pairings options.

Otherwise it is possible that we have more than 1 team after 6 rounds which won all 6 games. Idea from the Swiss System is to have an "clear" winner at the end. From that point of view maybe it is necessary to play 7 rounds with more than 64 teams.

I didn't set the pairing order Slor did ......... I just followed his instructions of how he wanted the generated lists to come out .....

"Each team will be paired as follows:

    1. With another team with the same number of wins, or if not possible due to the exclusions below, close to the same number of wins..."

now according to this software it says it pulls a unique round where it takes bottom and plays higher too so I am thinking that is what it did in this round because I questioned it too........ that's what took me so long to post out the lineup ...... I am open to any suggestions you have though so fire away

    Hi Bootsie,

thank you for showing us the Pairing Options. From my point of view, everything seems to be fine. Obviously it should be possible for the system to pair the 34 winners and the 34 losers from first round against each other!?

I have no idea what options could be changeable - so let`s play golf ;-)

    Cheers,
