    kam4122:

    Dear Teams

Bootsie is working very hard on this and loads of other tournaments for the benefit of us all. It is a big ask that she runs and administers all of this and in addition is being bogged down by a rising number of disputes.

To this end it has been decided that the Dispute Resolution Team is coming back to help out. If there is a situation that can't be sorted out between the players and their Captains, Boots will refer it to dispute resolution.

Once in dispute resolution the process is pretty simple, we require both sides of the story from the players and their Captains, in most cases the solution will be straightforward, but in all cases the aim will be to get the call made as soon, and as fairly as possible so games can continue.

    Thanks,

    Monty

First Thanks to the Dispute Resolution team you are truly appreciated

Second: Thanks to the Dispute Resolution team you are truly appreciated lol

My match was strange and I don't know if it is finished yet....

Bluescouse was 1up at the 15th tee. The game dropped out. I went back to the menu and so did he. I did not get the chance to continue for some reason. I am sure I would have taken it out as his computer was playing up after 4 or 5 holes.

We restarted and I won 3up after 16. He suggested that we score after the holes played, however I won with 2 holes to play.

Should I take the win or should we replay?? Advice is welcome.

This happened to me before after an unexpected disconnection. What I normally do is go back to the hole we left, conceding hole by hole to start at the hole we left the game with the same score we left it. That is the fairest choice, but it always depend on the agreement both player had.

He sugested to score after the holes played, I think he was meaning to start from hole 15 Like I mentioned to you before.

To do that you need to go this way.

    You concede #10 1down

    he concede #11  As

    you concede# 12  1down

    he concede #13 As

    you concede #14 1down

and you start #15 1 down as it is supposed to be

    Hope this help.

    Jvr.

They replayed it continuing on from the point of disconnection and Bluescouse took the match.

seems like Kinga was asking to replay the whole match considering he was 2 up after 13 holes they had played - sounds like a good match either way

was that a ruling from the disputes committee Kam ?

Previous post was not a ruling, was simply a statement, the players went back as per Boots instruction and continued the original game from the point of disconnection (which was the correct thing to do) and completed the game. So as far as I am concerned there is no dispute, a clean result has been recorded.

    Cheers

Update on the Dispute Resolution Team

The team is made up of three players, each from different CC's. What the team have in common is they all have an extensive knowledge of the rules of golf, and have great WGT experience.

    The team is -

    Kam4122 - English Lakes

Daskino - Italian Golf and Country Club

    Lisa03 - Electra

Please direct initial questions to me, with both Luciano and Lisa being very busy my task is to run point in most cases, in more complex cases or cases that involve one of our own CC teams the other members of the team will be involved and will make the call.

I will send all Captains a friend request.

    Thanks

    Monty
