But I don't appreciate the same wind set  when I play a 500 credit tourney at Kiawah, and by set I mean basically the same wind directions three times in a row - I know its my fault and I have been stupid enough to enter again

But I figured in your words 'it would even itself out' - well it don't, unless your definition of evening itself out means I get 20+ headwinds on the par 5's and 20+ tailwinds on the Par 3's and the 4th

I know its a recurring thread, but I don't think its going to go away, you've brought in big money RG's now make it the same even playing field for all entrants

Although i don't play them, quite frankly i'd be more concerned about players emerging from tour pro to legend in less than a month having won or came 2nd in all that month's premium tier tourneys from tour pro -> legend,  then shooting 55's & 54's off the legend tees consistently in the 1000/2000cr rg's beating the best players who've played this game for years quite effortlessly. not bad considering they were hitting of the baby tees last month.....but that's only my opinion and a reason I'll be staying clear of the premium rg's.

i will just continue to play the normal $1 rg's and buy clubs and balls etc giving WGT money that way while I laugh from the sidelines.

way to go though & great shooting or whatever.  :)

I regret selling my G10's back for the same reason.

I haven't been in the 1k and 2k so I haven't bothered checking the scores but that sounds very suspicious, maybe I'll start looking to see who these people might be :)

You won't see who they may be, they enjoy special protection. We're not even allowed to talk about them.

    that's the bit I don't understand....

i mean when tiger woods first burst on the scene....the entire golfing world was talking about him because he was so good.

but when some suddenly bursts on the scene here and cleans up against the best players who've been playing here for years, we can't applaud him/her.

I'd say a 54 round RSG (-16) in a premium ready go.... off Legend Tees was a fantastic achievement considering a month ago him/her was shooting off the baby tees as a Tour Pro. I mean how can someone learn tiers so quickly and be so consistent in the premium rg's (18 holes ones especially hitting 54...55, 55, 56 etc). Maybe I'm just getting too slow lol.

Must be one of the best natural talents ever to have played WGT.

Even Sam (Bollox...who I rate very highly indeed even though he took me off his friend's list lol ) had to have more than just a few goes in the Virtual British Open qualifier to achieve that score...and remember that was unlimited...with easy conditions & 7mph winds. In the RSG Open which was high winds....StoneColdKiller (eventual winner) only managed a 58....with the rest of the best players in this game struggling to even break 60 against the high winds of 30mph head on and crosswinds making many greens unreachable in 2.

Therefore I think these new naturals who can shoot 54's - 56's consistently in heavy/mod conditions like taking a stroll deserve a huge round of applause.

I always get the odd rapid meter. a few times per round..or meter swinging through after I've hit or putt, or the ball slices off the club even though I've dinged it, so I'm only gonna be very lucky to break 60 every now and again....but that's life.

Maybe I'm just getting too old to catch it :)

    Anyways.

    Pretty amazing shooting

Now tell me again why we can't say who these gods of golf are?

PS you hijacked my rant lol

    Yep.

A hot score can happen.  I've played long enough to know that things can go very right every now and then.  But repeated and consistent super hot scores?  Truly amazing.  Some players must be just super lucky...

It would be too easy to just shut me up...but remember....too many people are now starting to question what is going on.....especially since these 2000 credit RG's can win someone a tidy sum.

    You're having a laugh!!!
