that's the bit I don't understand....
i mean when tiger woods first burst on the scene....the entire golfing world was talking about him because he was so good.
but when some suddenly bursts on the scene here and cleans up against the best players who've been playing here for years, we can't applaud him/her.
I'd say a 54 round RSG (-16) in a premium ready go.... off Legend Tees was a fantastic achievement considering a month ago him/her was shooting off the baby tees as a Tour Pro. I mean how can someone learn tiers so quickly and be so consistent in the premium rg's (18 holes ones especially hitting 54...55, 55, 56 etc). Maybe I'm just getting too slow lol.
Must be one of the best natural talents ever to have played WGT.
Even Sam (Bollox...who I rate very highly indeed even though he took me off his friend's list lol ) had to have more than just a few goes in the Virtual British Open qualifier to achieve that score...and remember that was unlimited...with easy conditions & 7mph winds. In the RSG Open which was high winds....StoneColdKiller (eventual winner) only managed a 58....with the rest of the best players in this game struggling to even break 60 against the high winds of 30mph head on and crosswinds making many greens unreachable in 2.
Therefore I think these new naturals who can shoot 54's - 56's consistently in heavy/mod conditions like taking a stroll deserve a huge round of applause.
I always get the odd rapid meter. a few times per round..or meter swinging through after I've hit or putt, or the ball slices off the club even though I've dinged it, so I'm only gonna be very lucky to break 60 every now and again....but that's life.
Maybe I'm just getting too old to catch it :)
Anyways.
