First let me address a major concerns brought up with this
statement. Ive never had another
account. I joined Feb 21 2011 with the only account I ever
played. You can review my account history and see I started out struggling and
learning.
A couple days after I started, feb 23 2011 my wife joined. We share information, well more to the fact,
she is an absolute student of the game and she shared information with me. She
has notes on everysingle hole on wgt including the ctth events. Its very easy to know what shot to hit using
her notes and excel spreadsheets. She
taught me putting and tips that I doubt I’d ever figured out on my own.
Dianne81 is my wife and has been an active player and friend
to many, to know her is to love her. Those
of you who have talked to her on phone, skyped called with her while playing or
played on various teams know her to be a very sweet wonderful girl. Several
knew she was my wife, but didn’t make it common knowledge because of some
stalker issues she was dealing with. She used to play all the time, and post
pics and tips helping others out. This turned out badly, as her photos were
linked to her photobucket account which had our real last name. A dirtbag got her phone number and our
address, and was calling , sending
letters, harassing and threatening her which didn’t end until we took legal
steps to end it. It was really sad and
made me so angry feeling powerless to fix. She closed that photobucket account
, stopped posting on the forums and slowed her play to allow things to die
down. Hopefully its over, but for a long time she was apprehensive when phone
rang from unknown number.
Having her here, really
shortened my learning curve. I cant tell you how much easier it was learning
to putt with her overmy shoulder coaching on how to read lines , what holes
needed full bs and what holes needed to roll up to pin. She printed out
everysingle green and drew lines on them to tell me where the best landing spot
was for pins, and leave easiest putt.
My biggest inconsistency is hitting the shot correctly. You talk about the good rounds I post, but I
also post 36s, 64,65s in highroller readygos. If I could hit meter everytime,
it would be more consistent which is
what I strive to.
Dianne is a better player, but while she may have been
watching me and coaching, she never played my account in any tourney. She never was much of a readygo player ( I
love them, she hates them ) We have also never entered a tourney that the other
was in. Even when the 2 major opens were
around, and she was practicing night and day, she asked me not to play them
because wouldn’t want it to look suspicious if one of us one them , with us
being from the same IP .
As far as me getting from tourpro to legend so quickly, here
is how and why I did it. Most all my rounds were practice rounds. If I hit a bad shot out of bunker, I’d turn
around, putt it back into bunker and keep trying until nailed the shot. I may would score 100 on 18 holes, but being a practice round, it never
posted and didn’t effect my average.
After I won a few tourpro readygos, Dianne said I needed to go ahead and
move up tiers as with the spreadsheet, coaching notes, I could easily make
legend, which she said that’s where I needed to be to get any credibility it
the game. So Oct 1, I paid entry fee for tourpro premium ( I was only a couple
rounds from making master) and then made it a personal goal to turn legend as
quickly as I could. In retrospect, I wish I hadn’t entered that one as I knew
my game was very strong. I did it more
because ducati who had been a long time rival was leading it with and had the
best clubs. I wanted to compete against him.
Still it bumped the guy who was in 3rd out the $$ and I
regret playing that one
Oct 2 it began. I 99% tier specific readygos, and never
entered the 2k readygo until I was a master. Again this was Dianne saying it wouldn’t
be fair for me to enter highroller readygos from the shorter tees. In addition to readygos, I was creating the
easiest country club tourneys I could to keep my avg low and enable me to tier
up quickly. It took about 50 POSTED ranked rounds to get from master to
tourmaster. I say posted ones, as I would just withdraw and restart if I had a
bad round going. Tiering up was the most important thing. After getting to tourmaster, it took another
50 posted ranked rounds to get to legend.
When I got to legend, I had the 2.0 irons, and the game got somewhat
easier. I was playing over a dozen
ranked rounds a day, got into a natural rhythm
with meter. I wouldn’t go for ding always as I play a mixuture of moving arrow
and missing the ding on wind side.
So moving up tiers didn’t happen in 3 days, it may have
looked like that because of timing playing the premiums, but I would play those
based on if I was having a good day or not. Once you enter them , even if you
move up a tier, you still can play them at anytime before end of month.
I do not consistently shoot low scores, lord knows I try,
but even yesterday I had a 36 in high roller readygo. To illustrate that I have
bad rounds…. Here are some of my scores from past 150 rounds. Some of them are
in high roller 1 and 2k entry fee events. RSG high winds, if you get bad winds,
it’s a nightmare. -5 is a good number. With good high winds like had in the 54
( which is also my all time best round) I had perfect winds and all par 5s were
reachable and many par 4s I had wedge into pin.
Bollox posted a 53 in the same 1k rsg event about a week earlier, so
those scores are out there when combined with good putting day and good winds
Just so you know, readygos, I may pay 40.00 in a day in
entry fees and only win 20.00 ( net
loss) but it still shows as winnings and moves me up the leaderboard. With my
winnings, I have never cashedout for a amazon care, instead I’ve gifted
several hundreds of dollars worth of stuff to everyone from newbies to legends.
I enjoy helping others when Ive got credits.
So suspicious of my
game or not, Im proud of my accomplishments and know every tourney, its been me clicking
mouse. No clicking help from Dianne, another person or cheats.
