LeonDelBosque:
Putting aside your scores now, my issue is with your pre-Legend performance.... which I noticed back in September/October when we were both Tour pros. And the issue I have is that you were quite clearly SANDBAGGING. You say you were just "playing practice rounds." Well, I say you were manipulating your average score, which is sandbagging, which is cheating -- you were obviously already playing at Legend level, which is proved by your meteoric rise to actual Legend status. You joined in February and were still at TP seven months later.... then, as I recall you posted a note saying you were going to "make a run" for Legend.... and voila, next time I checked there you were. I'm just a measly master and can only marvel at your skills. What bugs me is that you hung around winning everything in sight against players like me who are just trying to pick up a tourney win here and there and trying to get better, playing against others in the same boat.
I was competing personally ducati916 at the time in tourpro specific events who had much better equipment than i did I was trying to get better at the game without moving back on tees. I didnt consider other tiers as I rarely played with others in higher ties. It wasnt until Dianne explained why i should move up in tiers and why did i understand. I wasnt breaking the rules, just trying to level up to level 60 and getting ping driver before getting master tiers
Remember I was only level using the baby r11 at the time, and moved up to master soon after getting the g10 irons.
Yes, I agree Leon and couldve tiered up quicker. In retrospect knowing what i know now, I wish I had, but thats water under bridge and just have to do best I can now that I understand the game more.
You can look at my MPC and readygo history as a tourpro, see that I played within my tier and didnt use the shorter tees to take advantage against those hitting from further back. When I understood the game better , I obviously tiered up as quickly as possible.
I play fair, friendly , competitive and give back to others. I cant change the past, but will continue to do the best I can in future.
