The tiebreaker system should not be a mystery. You should be able to look at others scorecards to see if tiebreaker format is being applied as set out in the rules.
I finished rd2 in a sixteen way tie at 12 under. I was listed as 12th of the sixteen.
Tie breaker was listed as normal (games completed, last rd score, second last rd, third last rd, dbl eagles, eagles, birdies, first in club house) - I played bad for the first 9, birdied 8 of 9 after the turn (including final three holes).
I find it hard to believe all of the others ahead of me in the tiebreaker also did all of their scoring over the back nine.
Allowing players to see other scorecards would eliminate the suspicion.
