I have questioned in my mind, due to my misses, early, late etc. that the ball meter speed differs mostly from full stroke to the first hit line (dark blue). And that the time from the first hit line to ding varies very little. I don’t have a way to measure except for stop watch. I’ve tested a 6, 5, 4, 3 and 0 meter and the difference is less that 3 100s of a second. I know the precision is questionable. To test my theory I blocked the power bar from100 to 50 % so I could not see the first 1/2 of movement and strangely enough was dinging regularly even with the 0 meter.
I would have no idea how to test on a more precise basis, but when I saw your testing thought you may have some ideas.
