Seems like everytime I've been on this forum, SOMEONE is screaming foul about someone's score in the 50's in a tourney. Usually that person cannot do that and is lashing out. A bit of advice from those who can't shoot 50's but don't speak out. BE QUIET. You are making yourself look dumb and not giving the credit to the people who legitimately shoot in the 50's. If anything, stop bitching on this page and go work on your game. Nobody wants to hear it. This is just a game after all.

There might be some out there that are gaming the system...but don't underestimate what a person can do with time on their hands, uses the best real and virtual equipment, has talent, and has been here long enough to know every aspect of the game.  The 40's will be next.

No forgetting that the really low 50's are shot from shorter Tees :)

Roger is right, look at the fall tour championships....

If you shot 2 59's , you'd have won it. The conditions from black tees and heavy winds coupled with championship greens can make life real tricky for Legends

You guys are right.  When I first started this game and couldn't shoot below 80 I thought everyone was cheating and these scores were impossible.  As I've moved up the tiers and got the top clubs, my scores have dropped significantly and I've hit in the mid 50's.  I know these scores are possible and with a magical round even the 40's are possible.  To all of the haters out there... just keep practicing...

My problem was in the lower tiers when a level 72 Amerture is shooting a 52 and has all of the best equipment for his level. If you are shooting constant 50's you need to tier up.  Iknow there is thet 1 lucky game but tier up and be competitive with players of your tier

The only consistent thing in this game is inconsistency. I know it because I have restarted over and over again trying to look for some patterns and the only patterns that were consistent were inconsistencies. I started an unlimited game (CTTH) and writing down all details.. Must have started it like 30 times or more so I got all kinds of winds. Tried everything from dinging to missing right or left of the meter. All results were different. Also proved me once again that meter is never consistent either' thus with left wind you may try to pull it and meter go super fast and you get a ding.... next time you try again and you really pull it... and then the next it won't stop until it crosses the line.... With all this randomness no doubt you will get good and bad rounds with good and bad conditions. If you add up that putting is sometimes impossible and others you can't seem to be wrong even when you miss... I assure you WGT is a 75-25 skill- luck game and sometimes these numbers can go up or down.

For those who think meter has the same speed all the time I assure you that it won't. If you still wonder why you tried to click before and your meter went  passed the line(look at the water right). When there is a hazard to the right WGT made the meter go faster(at least most of the times in my opinion). In another hole you aim at the fairway  very close to the rough left... your meter can be a turtle sometimes... hasn't it happened to you? But in another hole it may perform as usual....

With all this I am sure that a good round is a blessing and when anyone gets a very good score against VEM should be congratulated. Playing and getting good scores is skills plus a lottery.
