    Fat fingers maybe? J/K

Reminds me of a friend, Chuck back in the day who once switched from a Japanese car to an American one because the buttons in his Japanese car were too tiny for his fingers. Every time he tried to press something, he'd end up hitting two buttons at once. LOL

    ScottHope:

Another good deed for Scottie......you have to go on HK's post "Comments about Henry Kawa" and post your good deed. I'm sure he would like that.🤣

I can well believe that Simon. Having been a fan of the TV show 'Wheeler Dealers' for many years and watching Mike Brewer balloon in size as the years advance. It is quite amusing to watch him squeeze himself into small european and japanese cars and drive around looking like an enormous goldfish in a tiny bowl.  : ))

That goldfish-in-a-bowl bit had me laughing so hard! 🤣 Brilliant imagery, Scott!

Fun show, despite the fact he could've been a better salesman. Who's your favourite mechanic?

I think my favourite mechanic from the series is Ed China, in my opinion Mike and Ed had the best chemistry.

One of my favourite moments was when Ed was driving a finished Porsche, maybe a pale green 912, round a test track with Mike in the passenger seat. The faces that Mike was pulling were hilarious, maybe for real or just for the camera I don't know, but it was a hoot.

My most hated moment was when Mikes dad made a brief appearance, when they met Mike kissed his father, that's fine, nothing wrong with kissing your own father... but there? That took me very much by surprise, perhaps I'm just old fashioned.

Whoa, wait… on the lips?? If I had done that to my late father, I probably would've gotten a light smack in return! Well, maybe not... Sadly, it's not something I can experiment with anymore.

⬇️ EDIT : A salute?! 😆 My dad wasn't quite that strict. What I remember is how he'd be sitting in the living room with a newspaper in the morning and when I came out, he'd glance up over his reading glasses and give me a little smile. That said, if I ever kissed him on the lips? He probably would've rolled up that newspaper, waved it at me and said "What did you do? How bad is it?" 🤣  ⬇️

⬇️ EDIT 2 : Props to your dad for pulling through and to you two for carrying that kind of weight as kids. ⬇️

Yes Simon. I was never close to my dad. Probably a salute would have been more appropriate as far as he was concerned, atten...shun!!

EDIT : Sadly, WWII took its toll on my dad and left us with a man on medication that meant he was able to live in society instead of an institution. I never really got to know the man behind the glasses and newspaper in my house, but as kids, my brother and I never really understood what had happened to him and just accepted him as he was, a quiet man.  ; )

    Cheers Simon.
