New balls that cost a fortune, and a water course to go hand in hand with it, lol. $50 RG, NO EFFING WAY will i pay that, cant afford the measly Cabo green fees, lol. I suspect that is why the game has gone to hell lately, all this stuff coming out, and they where just getting ready to throw this garbage at us. I fully expect to see this game go more downhill now, as our old stuff just wont be good enough any more.

    We

    Greedily

    Take all your money

And when i went to do the new surveys, there was nothing there. Call me cynical, but i fully expect to see nothing there in the future also.

I like em. Just bought a sleeve of the 71+ this morning. Don't need the spin balls. Tried one out on the NKF challenge and shot my lowest round ever, 54. Of course that is from the white tees.

I agree the price is ridiculous, but you aren't going to get anywhere bit¢thing about it on the forum. Just like any other business WGT is out to make money.

Play within your means and have fun people. It's a GAME. G-A-M-E You would think we were all out on tour or something by reading some of these "It's just not fair" crybaby posts.

Practice, put some time into the game, and get better.

I bought a sleeve of Nike 20XI-X Balls (4.5$, 5 dots for distance) to test them. I hardly saw a difference in distance (I play with Callaway Tour i(z), 3$, 4 dots for distance). Didn't play enough to notice spin improvement.

The only noticable improvement is the slower meter. But one has to be careful. To play well and consistent, you need to play as much as possible under the same conditions. So you cannot switch continuously between the callaway (or other balls) and the those balls. So you cannot say, I will continue to play with less expensive balls and switch to those ones for important rounds. If you start to play with them, you need to always play with them, and that's expensive...

Perhaps the slower meter will help some players to ding a bit more often, but I doubt this will significantly improve the game. After a while, you will get used to the new speed and the meter will no longer look as slow as it looked when you just switched from callaway (or other balls) to the nike one. I am sure I would not ding more with them than with the callaway. But I don't want to test this hypothesis and getting used to them, they are just too expensive (for the improvement proposed).

    Regards

I dont think its "Bitching" or being a "crybaby" to voice an opinion in a community based game. Considering it is a community based game, parity is important. Obviously its ones choice to either spend the money or not, its a choice.

Fact is, WGT is becoming a very expensive game to compete in, especially with a level of players that will never run out of credits, while the majority cant afford it. Thats life though I guess.
