Humm! wonder if these new Nike balls will make ebay?  Just sayin!  They do sell experienced balls there.   I can only hope the virtual ball divers will continue on with there quest.  Hey! the ponds of WGT should be walkable by now, ffs  I've even stood on water myself, if anything the water hazards should be mountains by now, with all the balls that have been lost in them.

Money talks as always, and BS! well I believe it floats, as I have seen it everywhere on this site. Just sayin!  Lmfao

Oh! and Yes, I'll try the new balls at least once.   Hey! I have limited my game playing, but still lose balls, but not as much as I did in the early days of playing this game.  Live and learn I say, but as others have said, "this is a business", and they are out to make a profit.   If you can't pay their price, don't play their game.   Simple as that.   You can always find friends that will play the game you chose, they are out there.  Stay out of the tourneys, you have the choice to do so.  Find a CC, or build one for players of your caliber, or those with the same thoughts. Play your game, not WGT's pay to play, leave that to there so called money winners.

This is a free game site, even though they offer more than what is free.   Simple!   Play well, but play your game, and as you chose to play it remember; WGT offers many formats, the choice is yours as to which one you play.

Spending 4.50 a sleeve for virtual balls that can be lost in one swing. This creates a mixed emotion situation, kind of like watching your boss drive over a cliff in your new Corvette. Just what feeling do you prefer?

LMAO!!! Very very nice! Too funny!! Now on a serious note. Do you all remember when Calloways came out? Remember the forum posts? "$3 for a sleeve of virtual balls"!!??? "No way WGT"!! "You've gone too far this time"!! Fast forward a few months and now look at ya. That's all you play with. Well, ok, Maybe not ALL of you. But most of us spend the money on Calloways. Now since then we the people have been asking WGT for better equipment. They chose balls this update. Careful what you ask for.

Now this is just pure speculation on my part. Again, this might NOT be true AT ALL. Obviously WGT and Nike have some sort of agreement/contract. MAYBE, they had to set the price of the Nike balls so high so that they can profit from their agreement. I'm sure Nike is getting a cut of the pie. WGT has to get their cut as well. Their a business.

I know that some on here, or maybe even most can't afford a $4 sleeve of virtual balls. I know I can't. But I do surveys and watch videos and earn free credits. Look, people will buy the Nike balls. There's no stopping that. And I'm not saying you can't voice your opinion in here. Just try to keep in mind that there might be a very good reason as to why such a high price on these Nike balls. Then again, I guess on that same logic it's very possible that they are just being greedy. Anything's possible. I think the one thing that some forget is that WGT is a business. And if your not making more money than your spending then your not going to be in business very long. And I'm sure it costs a whole lot of money to give us what we all want. Brand new HD courses!! Take care all and Merry Christmas to everyone and their families!

Yeah but they're made in a sweat shop in Thailand. So, it can't cost Nike THAT much to produce these VIRTUAL golf balls.

Nike balls.  The new Top Ball at WGT!

Not for me it isn't.  The top ball is still the Callaway because the Nike ball, while a nicer ball, is way too expensive.  $1.50 per ball is ludicrous, and makes me think there is an autistic ape making pricing decisions in WGT's offices.

I love em! Yep they're expensive but you get what you pay for. The distance on the level 71 balls is immense. I hit 304yds into an 18mph headwind on the 17th at St andrews.

You can in the UK buy a dozen Callaway S balls for £24, the equivalent on WGT at today's exchange rate is £19.36.

And people on here ridicule those that complain about the prices.

The prices are shocking, end of, no argument about it.

    Where does this all end?

new balls and best of water holes is JUST a coincidence!

    -wgticon

I suppose it's a coincidence that the pin on the 6th at Congressional for the purposes of this Best of Water Nine has been moved to within 15feet of the water on the front right hand side of the green?

    Aye right!!!
