How often am I going to read the same old and equally flawed argument that the game has become too easy (sigh...)? Too easy for whom? The infinitesimal minority of players who post insanely low scores, by PGA standards? What about the overwhelming majority of players who struggle no matter what? As I said already time and again, create an upper legend tier, called Champion (not Tour Legend: boring, without enough distinction) for sub-60 legends, with farther and harder hole locations, and championship greens, and leave the others alone. You can then issue slightly better clubs (a variety thereof to eliminate boredom) than the current R11's, and everything will fall into place, until some other development calls for yet another evolutionary leap.

As long as there is VEM, and the haywire swing meter, you will have nothing to worry about. Also, the suggestions being made are not realistic. Everybody wants more distance so they can win tourneys and RGs. YOU cry about the Legends and how they win everything and yet you want a club harder to hit. Are you kidding me? If they can win with what they already have ,they are not giving them up for a few more yards. So , if you want something better, how about W.G.T. fixes the swing meter, turns off the VEM, regulates the tourneys and RGs so that the winners can`t  play for 2 weeks or a month after a win and let every one go home happy. I`m not hating, I`m just saying. Seeeeeeee Yaaaaaaaaaa.

If a new tier does come out, it should be something you earn a position in and not get bumped into, like some players did when they changed the system a couple of years back. I made legend by getting my average low enough, not because WGT thought I should be there as happened to some players.

I'm more than happy to stay as I am and not be allowed to enter Ready Go's or matchplay challenges.

at the end of the day this is just a game, and I find it quite hard enough, and expensive enough, If you need a bigger challenge use starter balls.
