I think i might be pretty much done on WGT.

I really liked playing for credits, RGs , MPCs , then Skins. I had to stop RGs, i just simply was not good enough, which is fair enough.

So i just played MPC....the trouble is when i turned legend i could not compete at all anymore. Most players i found who wanted to play mpc, were masters or TMs who would shoot pretty much all birdies against me in a round, and probs would be better than me off even my tees. or i would find Legends who are just honestly better than me.

Its fine for Legends who are great cause they can still beat these players from there tees but i cant, there is no one left for me really to play.

I do not understand why WGT allows players just to play just mpc and still level up but not move tiers. It seems you are punished for reaching Legend. You must spend more money and make less.

there are numerous players who realise this and just play mpc or skins, but are really hidden legends, with the equipment,  just not the tees.

For me this is the biggest flaw in the game and reason enough to leave until its addressed.

N.b another reason for leaving is Wgt extraordinary rake and awful prizes for free tourneys. yet there revenue streams through adverts acorss all sites (walls) in game video before, product placement, not to mention actually buying credits and cost of equipment. yet they give you 2$ if you win weekly 9 hole say...what bs.

Also 50$ rg, wgt is the real winner, there are only about 50 who would dare enter, your just switching your credits around the top 50 and Wgt makes the rake....

You may not recall, but you never had an issue taking credits from me a few times in MPC when you were a TM;)

Just play Legends in MPC, I figure this way I'm donating to those who have earned it.

Lol...thats the real tragedy, i think im just yearning for my TM days....sigh....i once beat someone ;(

Was just frustrated after losing 6 in a row to masters hitting 27 over 9

Good advice on just playing Legends but its quite hard to find an MPC game Vs anyone, expect a Dev.....and they just way to easy not even fun ;)

    Edit:

Be careful who you play with around here...especially for credits.

That's the first time I've heard the expression "Hidden Legends", but it's the perfect way to explain what is happening around here...hidden legends really is our 8th or Underground Tier.  And before anyone gets excited, I am not referring to those that play their best and are stuck, I'm referring to those that should be in the Legends Tier but work the system to stay where they are (Some call it sandbagging).  In fact, a player doesn't really need to work very hard at all to do it.  Simply put, this behavior is allowed, even encouraged, by allowing everyone, regardless of tier, to buy the best equipment.

WGT, please do something about this before a great amusement is ruined.

The system in place for Legends sucks bigtime....unless you've reached the specified level, you will find yourself playing sandbaggers who play everything apart from ranked rounds in order to level up and remain on the lower tier and with the big clubs they have a far greater advantage shooting off the forward tees.

    Seems fair roflmao.

I need to be careful what I say here, but...

They did - they've brought out level-ups so that Hacks can now get up to L60 on their first day.  Says it all really.

To answer EnglishRosey, it's pretty damn difficult now to get a decent MPC game.  It's either a sandbagger (I always check out their profile before playing) or a TM or Legend with the best equipment who are simply too good for me too, and I'm not here to donate to those who already have millions.  I'm lucky now if I get 1 game a night, so much so that I've almost given up on it.  Unfortunately in RG's one now has to score sub-30 to be in the top 10, which I have next to no chance of doing on a profit-making basis, so that's a no-go area for me too.

A couple of months ago I did some working out.  I know WGT is a business and they have to make money, but have you considered this.  I know the high stakes RG's seemed to have quietened down, but let's assume there is one 2k RG per day.  There's 100,000cr in the pot of which WGT take 20,000. The remainder are simply being passed around the same players.  Assume three 1k RG's per day from which WGT take 30,000cr, 50k cr so far.  Say 5x500 RG's, WGT's rake 25k.  Total so far 75k credits that are taken out of circulation each day.  Then there are, say, 25 regular 100cr RG's which bring in a rake of 25k.  That's 100k cr total.  As I said, the RG's seemed to have quietened down now, but maybe one can now understand why.  100k credits is $1000 worth.  Add in the credits taken in rake from MPC and skins games, and all the balls and clubs being bought each day, and this can easily amount to a few thousand dollars worth of credits taken out of circulation each day.  These 'spent' credits must be replenished somehow!!

Certainly some of the latter upgrades have made great business sense from a financial point of view, but does this mean WGT lose some of their longer standing members, like EnglishRosey, because it is simply no longer viable to keep playing?

.. I feel the same way about the blaggards, horse whip em I say,,, ,,, but really we do have a choice, we can set up our own games n pick n choose who plays in them, plus with decent  friends we can still get a half decent game if we're patient.. .. I've said it before but I will say it again, how long will it be till we see a Hacker at level 100, n to me that's where the problem lies..!!!!!

By far the fairest system would be one that involves players reaching a certain tier before clubs get unlocked, but I think there is more chance of Robert Mugabe & China jointly winning the Nobel Peace Prize for Humanitarian Effort, than us seeing the fairest tier based system being introduced.

My feelings are, everyone should start drinking and enjoy the game the best they can.  It's still an enjoyable way to entertain oneself, amen
