Think my par 3s would be: RSG 16, KIA 14, STA 8 (how the heck is this in the Best Of Hardest?!) and maybe BPB 14.

Par 5s are probably STA 5, RSG 7 (again, how is this in the Hardest course?!) and probably 14 as well and then maybe KIA 7.

That leaves ten par 4s. Probably KIA, STA and BPB 1, STA 9 and 10, RSG 2, KIA 3, CCC 17, BPB 6 and STA 18.

Just a quick list of the holes that spring to mind. Obviously this course probably won't be made, but hey.

    Jack.

Interesting post... I'm guessing STA #8 is in the best of hardest holes mainly because when the pin location is in the front of the green, it's almost impossible to get it close and make a birdie.

And #7 at RSG is probably just them giving the players an interesting twist so that they grind through 17 hard holes but they have a chance to finish with an eagle or birdie.

Personally I might actually put Hole #18 at STA in the best of HARDEST holes because of the false front in which you could make a bogey when you land 1 yard short.

Interesting at the different opinions for a hole.

I don't mind Kia #17 now,  but, it was a very hard hole to play in my younger days

St.A #8.. I hate this hole when the pin is at the back, usually struggle, but when the hole is at the front...I have no Poblems...lol.

Beth #1.. this hole I find easy, I can drive over the corner of the trees and make in into a shorter hole... but if you don't have the clubs to do that, it can be difficult.

Not sure... but Oak is off limits I think for the Best Of Courses...don't why, maybe something to do with contracts.

9th at St A has to be easiest hole - at any tier? Puttable eagle opp even from black tees if wind right - you have to chip in on the 1st. That's as long as you didn't get the yips and throw it into the fescue lol. Happy hitting.

I agree for sure, 9th at St.A is easy from any Tee. Actually, now that allot of people have got high level clubs, some of the shorter holes can be very tricky.

Wouldn't it be great if we could include Cabo in.  2nd,3rd and 4th. on Cabo comes to mind straight away, with 3 Eagle chances....lol.

Having longer drives does not make it harder. All you have to do is back off on the meter and it works just as good as the shorter drives. Not that hard at all.

It is hard to pick the easiest or hardest holes when the can play so different from tees, with wind, etc.

9 at St Andrews is probably the easiest hole on WGT from any tee and with any wind.  I would have to agree with that.  You can also make a case for 10 and 12 at St Andrews as well, those holes are reachable from any tees except the legend tees and even from those from time to time.

7 at Kiawah is a very easy hole from tee to green but putting can be difficult around the hole you might put 11 at Kiawah in it's place since the green is much more simple.

1 at BPB is a very easy hole if you put your drive in play.as is the 8th hole there (I think) the one with the sloping fairway, a good tee shot leaves you a simple 90 yard shot to an easy green.

Everyone has their opinion about this, not sure that I would even want a best of easiest WGT holes.  The most famous is a good concept as is the hardest but that is so tier specific.  You have holes like 13 at Kiawah that are 100 longer from the Legend tees than master, I think that is one of the hardest holes but from the master and up tees, it's only a drive and a short wedge.

No one mentioned Olympic or RSG much.

At Olympic, the 18th plays very easy: basically any solid drive will stop on the embankment below the green, leaving a short wedge of 50-60 yards to the green, and the putting there is not tricky.

At RSG, the 14th is a great eagle opportunity and a very easy birdie.

Yeah 14 at RSG is pretty tame, I always forget about that course, none of the holes are really memorable in my opinion.  Olympic is just too new to be thought of at this point although one of the par fours is driveable and an easy birdie hole, can't recall the number.

The 7th at Olympic is drivable but can be nasty. It is hard to reach the top tier, where the hole is, and from the lower tier you can easily hit a putt that doesn't quite make it to the top tier, then trickles back down to your feet. I had more than one of those where I should have gotten a penalty stroke (struck by my own putt - the avatar will not move out of the way!)

Cabo del Sol must be the course where you have most chances to get an eagle. I don't remember the hole numbers, but I once made two eagles on front nine and I feel disappointed if I go home without any eagle at all. Back nine is a different matter, some really weird greens there. Feels like the course is not ready since some undulations is knife sharp and straight as arrows.
