Agreed Richard!!!!! Making the game easier again! Oh well.... Here come the 49's! I'll never use it! If i averaged 58-60, I would get bored with this great game.

I seriously doubt anyone is going to shoot in the 49's because of this. There are other variables in putting here that determine the right speed. This is just to give you an average. Since each green speed is different that also has to be factored in using this scale.

Don't be surprised if you do see a 49. There have been many come very close!

Hawk, while I have no doubt that someone will achieve that feat on here, I do have my doubts about them using the putting scale. LOL

I've been using this putter ruler for a long time and as soon as i started using it , it improved my putts.

I used to use the increment method.

WGT has needed a measure on the swing meter since day 1. The current offering of Putter Pal (for credits lol) is pretty lame. Other golf games increment their swing meters, why not WGT? oh yeah.. so they can sell one.

I think its a no brainer to realise this as a 'ruler' does not take away the need for working out your wind,  lie & final putt distance  yourself, this will not calculate the distance of the putt for you or your aim....

it will simply give you the mark on the swing meter you need to finally hit

although THIS will help calculate your distance on various greens:

Right click and 'view image', then, right click and 'save Image'

And although this is a complex chart, you really only need to know the Divisor shown for each green speed.

    eg;

    Standard 1.0,
    Fast 1.1,
    V Fast 1.2,
    Tournament 1.3
    etc

If you have a beef talk to WGTICON

I have no beef Bilko. I was just asking a question for the most part.

    Get well soon.

Funny! But I thought about this after posting the earlier message, for debate sake. What is the different between utilitzing a piece of paper to help determine speed (there are other factors that affect that speed ie. lie of the shot, uphill, downhill) compared to the distance book the pro's carry? Those books are filled with all kinds of information that helps them determine their shots..

I just wanted to know why people need to use meter aids and if everyone was aware of the rules.

    WGT Putter Pal

Fine tune your putting with the WGT Putter Pal. When you''re putting, you'll see a ruler below the swing meter with increments every 10% and at 25%, 50% and 75%, so you can more accurately set the power of your putts. Putter Pal is available for 10, 100, 500 or 1,000 putts and doesn't work with the EZ Swing putter.

So what category does wgt's Putter Pal fall into then?

FWIW....I've never used anything but my eyes & my judgement.

A definite plus! I am adding this to the spreadsheet today!!
