  does anyone know the best way to get out of deep rough? and also what happens if i put back spin while I'm in the rough??

  hi

  it depends what course/whatv % of deep rough and how far to the hole. generally, i use wedge and kick out to fairway and scramble for par but sometimes you can be more aggresive.

  Punch shot works very well in most cases.

  yea LW is the best option if u near green... if there's elevation flop can help if not too far from green, on the fairway & with a<25%lie u can even use hybrid...

  but really,rough ain't the worse, nor is sand, i still struggle with weeds, they can be much annoying.

  Over 40/50 rough is a wedge punch shot to the nearest bit of fairway. Depends on the rough, but putting backspin will give the ball a higher trajectory, but not actually impart much spin. The key in any rough, especially heavy rough, is to ding your shot.
