Very nice site you have created. In an earlier post you said Email was not required, for a reason. But now,  when going to register,  it is. Just wondering

    Hi driv

The reason for registering is that the league system software will auto function in the database (saves me manually inputting each and every entry)

In the "create your profile" section  there is only one or two criteria I need  -  Your nickname being the same as your WGT one (because results are taken from WGT official site) Your current average and tier  and your country  -( I know I can get it from here, but as explained  it would mean manual labour   arghhhhhh)

THAT is all i need.  You can either fill in or forget the rest.

It is a safe site and  you wont be recieving any spam or 'offers'  (use a email address you don't use much if  you wish - (unless the email verification for registration goes to your spam box  lol)  Registering also gives you access to all areas on site.  including the forum (if it allowed non registered entries  it could be mayhem as spam bots and others try and flood it.

    Hope that explains.

    PS thanks for the compliment.

    Crazyman,

I just looked at the Golfseeker site again and noticed it has me listed as a pro for the Platinum Challenge although when I signed up I put master, granted my current avg, is high (68.16) and not really Master worthy I just don't want one to think I signed up as a Pro when Im listed as a Master here. Thanks

    Hi CM2,

Are we going to only play the WGT weekly single play 18 hole tournament for our rounds?

One time a week? I'm Curious

    Hi Richard

That is the format for the Platinum Challenge  yes . As it runs for quite a while  I think once a week is enough. Besides what other way is there for SINGLE play ?  The reason for choosing the single play weekly rounds was to make sure you only get one shot at it  lol.

The stableford comp I was thinking along same format lines, but then realised it would have to be combined with the Platinum one (although winner may be different etc  it seemed wrong to put both comps running same venue same time).  So the stableford comp will probably be multi-player orientated (if that makes any sense)

I may run a third comp using the 9 hole format single play if there is a call for it.

Besides, there are many other comps going on, and I don't wish to tread on the toes of those that have spent ages preparing and running other great comps.

But the stableford Idea I hadn't seen on here, (dunno if it has ever been done - probably has but I haven't seen it) and thought it would bring a fresh change.

    Keep smiling & Happy Golfin'
