Stableford comp starts next Monday 1st Feb

First game format

Play the 18 hole single play game on WGT for week commencing 1st Feb - 6th Feb. Screenshot your round (both front 9 and back 9) Handicaps are in place (check yours from the site) Upload the images from your user uploader in your user menu on golfseeker site. Thats all there is to it !

Get your names in quick before its too late.

Also added 4 more comps -details on the site

Making a total of 6 competitions so far. Will you make the hall of fame?

One entry will give you entry in all competitions.

Platinum Challenge starts Mon 15th Feb

Monthly Medal starts Feb (date to be decided)

Singles Matchplay Knockout 1st round starts April

Singles Strokeplay Knockout commences July

Champion of Champions will take place at end of season

More comps will be added as we go along

Besides your ability to communicate on a one to one basis via our very own instant messenger in the users menu, 'Live' chat is now available for you golfseekers.

No more waiting or refreshing of screens needed. (as in a forum situation) So if you want to chat take a look in the users area once you have logged in.

The site is near completion (3 and a half days of solid work lol) and you should be able to find your way around without too much difficulty.

Any further relevant info will be updated, In the meantime I wish all those that have entered the comps the best of luck. for each and every tournament.

Hi Ellis

I am not attempting to create any rivalry in any way at all. I am simply giving WGT players additional options. From what i have witnessed, many moan about being bored with the same old thing. Well I am trying to 'spice' (no pun) things up by adding different formats.

I have seen how well the other non WGT tournaments have been run, and I raise my hat to their dedication and behind the scenes work involved. I certainly don't wish to step on any of their toes (as stated in an earlier post in this thread)

I could easily have implimented the ladder system as well, but wouldn't do so because it is already being done. The formats I have chosen differ from those available at the minute with perhaps the matchplay and strokeplay comps which are on similar lines (there is only so much variation on those type of events.

Of course I would expect members to stay with their already established comps and tournaments. What I am offering is an addition NOT an alternative. Its a community thing lol

That's exactly what I meant. It's a great addition to the seeming-shrieking community tourneys on WGT, and it's the first site I've seen that could 'rival' the ladders for quality.

P.S. How long will this pun war go on for? This is getting Crazy!
