    Hi

Wonder if anyone can help me?

Just purchased a Google Chromebook and having huge problems playing a game. When trying to hit a shot on the meter it is a pure lottery. The delay on me pressing the screen and the ball being hit is a joke, every shot is pulled way to the right.

You have to try and hit the ball way before you are supposed to and then just hope. Have now virtually stopped playing sadly.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so is there a solution?

    Many thanks.

I have that problem on my laptop but it works fine when I use my desktop.  Not sure how to fix it though.  For chrome, maybe disable pepper flash.

    Hello,

Back in January of 2012 you were having problems playing WGT Golf with your Chromebook.

Have you resolved your problems ?

If so, how did you do it ?

I find myself in your shoes; having recently purchased a Chromebook and having the meter go "loco" on me.

    Is there a solution ?

    Many thanks

Nope i never was able to sort it.

I have just got a new Chromebook, and whilst it is not quite as bad it is nowhere near good enough to play a decent round

I think the issues you're having is because you're using a Chromebook....

Those things have such a large online resource overhead it's crazy - Or they used to when I played around with one for a few weeks when they came out. I ended up returning it. It almost feels like you're a Google employee using them they're so tied up with Google.

I did like the keyboard though.....

I have a chromebook and I have clear the Flash(Website Storage),Cache,Cookies, hosted data and so on every day or the game is unplayable. You cannot use any other browser, but Chrome. Basically every time I do videos, I go through this, and it works for Me

    LOL..true.

To the OP..If you bought the 2mb ram Chromebook, it isn't good for anything. the processor and ram aren't enough.

The Chromebooks and HP Steam (Microsoft) out now offer 2.6ghz processors and 4gb ram which will play the game pretty smooth. I tried one recently at the store. The price is sweet, too.

Check your processor and ram. Google runs too much crap at once (resource hog is being kind). The new Steam is even worse on resources. I'm not a fan of Google or Microsoft, so I have no Chrome on PC and IE is completely disabled. But, I have the Microsoft OS :-(

To those who love Chrome, try Comodo Chromium. You will not know you're not using Chrome, unless you notice that the resource usage is about 1/4th of Chrome. And, it is NOT Google (aka Big Brother).

Also, if you do have a good processor, you can add 2 more mb of ram, and I would recommend a wired mouse.

    I'm old fashioned. I still use a desktop :-)
