MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! What do you think this is? The 18th century? I already bothered and I already have members (from the previous club). And guess what? Their excited! Why? Cause contrary to popular belief, they do like me. Take a moment on that one. I'm sure it's hard to believe. Well that being said, thanks for trying to be another "holier the thou" waste of time trying to put me in my place........NEXT!!!!!!

LOL....Your topic fits you well hazen. "Owners frustration" and booooy are you frustrated. Poor boy. You tc and try to enjoy the game. Good night now!

Let me step out on a limb here and apologize to Mike. If you want some suggestions Mike, send me a friend request and I can communicate my ideas more in detail through pm's instead of taking up time and space in the forums. One thing I need to say Mike - it took me a little over a full year of  work "everyday" to get TECC to where it is today. This is by no means an exaggeration. EVERYDAY. Be creative Mike. We have TECC Tour. We have a  Weekly CTTH comp. We have 5 sponsored tourns. every week. We have a SHOT tourn. A weekly "Best Shot", etc...etc... Drop me a friend request Mike and I will try and help you out. Again, my sincere apology.  Jeff

Sent request. Apology accepted. I as well would like to as well for being a little over the top as I can get. I'll tell you what I was running before. I've had some ideas on tweeking it a little. My big thing is wanting to get some kind of website up for the club. But it's hard finding a free one that I can really do anything with. Alot of the times free ones are limited or even to complicated based on what I want to do which is really simple.

    Thanks Jeff,

    Mike

Mike is on his way. Mike is a GREAT guy just looking to work hard developing a active , successful CC, which at times can be very overwhelming. Yes anyone can run a cc, but to have one that  runs actively and competitively, well thats not as easy as anyone may think. Good Luck Mike.

Wow Edge .. you guys do all of that ?    We rarely do club tournaments, only when a member decides to sponsor one .. probably did a handful in 2011.     However we did do:

    1. 2x a month poker games - For Balls
    2. 3rd annual Fantasy Football League - winner got a "Christmas Story Leg Lamp"
    3. NCAA March Madness pool - Winner got a case of steaks
    4. NFL and College football pick'em pools - Winners got Under Armor sportswear
    5. Super Bowl box pool and prop bet pool - For Balls
    6. Pick Miss America Contest - For Balls

Then again .. we did do one CTTH Blitz contest where the winner won fresh meat .... we called it our Beat the Meat contest.

Anyway --- these are just a few other things you can do to spice up the club.

THE CHRISTMAS STORY LEG LAMP.....NOOOOOOOO! I WANT IT!!!!! Who won it and how much do you want for it...lol

I think Mike will do well with his endeavor. CC owners that run in-house tourns. know how frustrating it can be when you work your tail off to make the cc a fun and exciting place to be and then no one shows up to compete. I have A LOT of trial and error experience and I am working with Mike to take his new cc to NEW and exciting hieghts...lol.

Thanks Lou for some of the ideas. This may be a direction we can take this thread. If I may ask ALL CC OWNERS, could you share some of your in-house tourns. and how they run?

I'll start; TECC Tour is made up of 4 - 9 Hole Single rounds that run the entire week. We have 2 separate divisions. Leaders Div. are the TOP players in our club. The Legends Div. are the above avg. to avg players, as myself...lol.Your best  3 scores are tallied onto our Tour TB every week. At the end of the 10 Week Tour we have the Top 8 from each division square off in a Tour Championship.

We avg.  50% participation rate, depending on the courses.

Well owners. Can you chime in? This will give everyone some real good ideas and in turn something new to bring back to your club. Thanks everyone. edge...

Edge, maybe a separate post might generate some discussion?

Thank you Roy. Sounds like good competition and A LOT of fun. Very cool.  Thanks again Roy.

Hi MBagese. I was thinking of starting a new thread but I am just trying to gel this one right into "CC Tournament ideas and or suggestions". Now that Mike is on his way, hopefully he can draw some ideas from other CC's that are or have been successful running in-house tourns. Thanks MB.
