  quick question as it seems we do not have 64 players (32 teams) are the next rounds somehow going to be adjusted?

  It's been adjusted to 16 teams.

  Hindsight is a wonderful thing...

  With a look at the full leaderboard, I noticed the people who were playing in the most events were leading, and not the people posting the best scores. A big example of this was AllyKennedy, who other than the first 2 events (which he missed) has had a near-perfect qualifier! Therefore, the worst 2 events will be taken off each player's total score after the qualifiers have finished.

  Also, there will now be 4 Round Robin groups of 3 teams, making it 12 teams (24 players). This is due to the lower than expected turnout, and it has been reduced from 16 to 12 teams because with groups of only 3 teams each team plays a match less. 

  Another note... some great scoring already after only a day and a half! DrussTheLegend and RUNWME have laid down the gauntlet with 56's in the 18 holer, while Laute shot a 28 in the 9 holer. Well done guys!

  Doodles why don't you just pick the teams yourself and be done with qualifiers?

  You can't just change rules halfway through a sequence of qualifiers. Fair enough reduce teams as there aren't enough players but changing how you qualify is a no-no for me.

  ps It's your tournament and you and your associates have put in a lot of work into this. I don't mean to appear unappreciative of that, I just don't think it's fair to those players who have posted scores in all qualifiers. You did after all give everyone plenty of notice.

  Wow I busted my hump in lowering my average from 64+ to 61 to become a legend in the last two weeks before this started to play in this event  right from the beginning and now I find out that two of the qualifiers will be thrown out.

  Hey if you have to lower the amount of teams because not enough players are in so be it

  but to penalize players for playing in all the events as opposed to most of the events that just sucks

  Hey I may not make it cause I am a new legend and will admit I am not as good as others in this due to not playing these courses from legend tees and greens speeds ( still getting use to it and refuse to quit to keep average artificially low)  but to not qualify due to late joiners and they get to play two less events...wow

  may as well have said okay if you are a so-so legend or a new legend ya probably shouldn't even bother in this event  so much for being open to all

  seem to see in tagline WGT world cup not WGT world cup for the best legends

  hell when you get to match play anything can happen doesn't mean lowest averages always win

  helllllllllll........ah nevermind will just keep plodding along see what I can do and come back and kick ass next time I guess instead of getting experience vs some of the greats this time round

   

  still a great idea for a tourny , great website

  Tom, its your tourney and so you make the rules, but for record, I agree with tiffer and crgade  on this.   To change the qualifying process this late in the game needs to have an extenuating circumstance that weren't foreseen.

   Nothing against Ally just saying it wont be fair to the person who has been busting butt everyweek in support of your tourney that you have been hosting. Would suck to that guy whois  to be  bumped out to  by rules change set in motion for the sole reason of  giving another their spot.

  For the record, it wasn't because of Ally... there were several others who have played very well but missed an event; that was just one example.

  Damned if I do and damned if I don't. As it was previously was unfair to people who missed any events.

  I received feedback (not in this thread) about how if you missed one event you were out of the chase and acted on that feedback... sorry to rattle a few cages by changing it midway through.

     Im not damning you for the decision, just offering an opinion and feedback from someone who is supporting the tourney with both time and assistance with prize pool.

  isn't it suppose to be a month long qualifier weeks 9,10,11 and 12

  isn't that posted on the very first post could understand if was daily qualifying  tournies but not week long ones

  okay since your two worst tours are not going to count

  if in one of the remaining tours that does count for me

  lets say 20 people drop out that actually scored better then me (as I am one of the lower/higher scores)

  here is the question

  do I get the additional 20 points for being higher in rankings due to their  scores NOT COUNTING AT ALL and therefore me being higher in stats?

  obviously if the players did not play in that tour will not affect my standings as their score of zero would be lower then mine
