    MBaggese:
Note, higher level clubs unlocking at Level 81 will be available later in February.

Most likely the new Ping i20 irons and clubs, I hope. Its been a long time coming for me.

Leon got it. I want to see the roar if they do outperform the higher level clubs.  LOL

    Hi guys,

g10's will stay if you bought them. I had raptures v1 for 6 month after v2 cameout (so long ago that maybe many of you forgot)

the new g20's are very nice, I think they are superior clubs with slower meter speed. The new ones that will be out likely very soon, are mid 80's in level and will be the best clubs for slower meter speed's. i personally can't wait to try them as I made my bones with raptures in g10's world.

Rapture version 3.0 irons? Five dots of forgiveness, four dots of precision, and four dots of spin. 3100 Cr. Just a guess.

Seems like WGT just made high tier Tour Pros, Mid tier Masters, and lower level TM's a lot more competitive! A G10 upgrade with a much slower meter! Having said that, I will probably trade in my 280 yd Taylor Made driver and Burner 2.0's for the G20 equivalents when they come out later this month - improved performance with a much slower meter? Sign me up! I WAS holding out on getting to Legend status until level 90 (at level 85) because without the R11 irons, I don't think you want to be teeing it up from the parking lot! With the new mid-80's level G20's the game's gonna change radically for Tour Masters and Legends folks!!! Couple that with a ball performing above the Nikes - WOW! We gonna see sub 60 Legend averages as the norm, rather than the exception, reserved for the exceptional...it does seem like the future should have new clubs for Legends only that perform above all at a higher meter speed...just my opinion. Right now, the only incentive to reach Legend, other than to be a member of that club, with appropriate braggin' rights, is Callaway balls, which we can already buy anyway...but face it folks, things are about to get VERY interesting in terms of 'WOW, GR8 shot!".

This is good news, been waiting for a decent set of irons without a supersonic meter speed. I'm glad now I didn't buy the r 11's, it sounds like the mid level g 20's are gonna be really nice !

I was thinking just what Icon wrote above...might be like the Burners with slower meter, which for many is a better club.

Ding for ding though, they shouldn't perform better than R11's..I'd hope:)

I was looking at the possibilities in the Pro Shop and my guess is that they are going to be like the G15s with the same meter speed as the CG wedges, not as slow as the lower level ones.  (IDK about changing the dots to equal the Burners.) That, in itself, is huge if it gives you the same meter speed from your driver to your wedge.

I would respectfully disagree with this your guess, YankeeJim...and let me emphasize respectfully, as you've certainly earned that. The I-15's are level 69 clubs and the new 80's level G20's would be an unlikely replacement (with slower meter). Yes, the G20's just out are pretty comparable to the G10's they replaced - but they ARE at the same level. Thus, the 20's would have to be somewhat improved - and since the main difference with the existing Burner 2.0's as compared to the 15's is a half dot each of precision, forgiveness, and spin (plus a bit more distance) - I would expect these new clubs would be very close to performance specs of the Burners, but with a slower meter. it remains to be seen if they actually improve much if at all on the Burners (setting aside the obvious meter speed reduction), however since they will only be available at levels AFTER the Burners, it seems like they should. And, I am guessing they will be a lot more costly than the latter!!! I for one am eagerly awaiting this update! I love the burners but frankly it is frustrating playing lower or comparably Tiered players who have the top level R11 irons - because they are incrementally better but with an appreciably slower meter. I am hoping the G20's reduce that 'gap' a bit. Yes, if you ding Burner irons, they are deadly - but they are rubbish on a mis-hit - which can't be said for the R11's or frankly the G10's I used to own.

I just rented the G20 level 59 irons. Wow. I may put the Burner 2.0's in the garage and use these until the next  update, with the level 80's Ping irons (G20 or otherwise)...these will allow me to carry my new R11 3 wood because the PW fits perfectly in the lineup-not as much need for the Cleveland 52 degree. As for the long irons, the 3 iron hits 230 (with Nike ball), only 5 yards short of the burner 3 iron. the middle irons hit the same distance. The meter is SWEEEEEEEEET!!!! As an added bonus, the G20 irons ALL hit the EXACT distance rated with full backspin---Nike ball---and thus stop as well or maybe a tad better than a regular full swing (no backspin) on the Burners...which means on a normal shot, full backspin, goes distance rated, stops on a dime, Ding pretty much assured...you do the math...
