As much as I agree with what everyone is saying here about a lack of communication from WGT, it does rather remind me of something Lizzie pointed out some time last year with regards to WGT posting in these forums; they would be damned to do, and damned double to not.
WGT told us, via the News section, there would be new high-level G20 clubs by the end of February. Some people seem to be holding a gun to their head to keep their promise. Yes, it would have been nice to have kept us - the membership - informed what was happening, but would the response from members have been any different? I am certain there would still have been some outcries as to the whereabouts of said clubs and why tell us they would be available when they clearly are not ready yet.
I am in the process of putting together some ideas on a communication process which I hope WGT will look into. I do believe there is a middle ground. I believe that some communication from WGT on certain matters would go a long way to seeing a more contented membership, and if any given dates are not always met, the membership would still be in a positive state knowing the situation at the time without having to make assumptions through lack of communication.
