I've been using the free AVG virus protection for 4 years with zero problems and not a single virus in that time. Free. As in no dollars spent on it. :-)

Same here! Well, that is after my norton ran out and it was time to buy new stuff. Heard about AVG in a college computer class. Had it ever since without any problems.
