That actually does good in the rough. I have tried the 2010 rapture v2 3 hybrid 21 and the burner 3 rescue 19 and neither get even close to the "average yards" it's supposed to. 202 and 205 and their lucky to get to 120.

I find that a 3W does well enough out of the rough, especially considering that I get to carry an extra wedge that way.  I have the discontinued Ping G|10 3W, rated at 235 Yds.  I can get around 200 most of the time, sometimes more.  Play with the punch shot out of the rough.  I find that it can work especially well in some cases.

So to answer your question, the best hybrid I can recommend for you is don't buy one.  Get  a good wood and another wedge.  You may find this thread helpful: http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/72948.aspx

I really like the R11 3 Wood, i did buy the hybrid but aswell but as turnabout says the 3w is more than enough and i also carry the extra wedge. I really only use my hybrid for closest to the hole and blitz.. The R11 3 wood will hit 200 easy.

The listed distance is NOT the distance you get out of rough on any of the clubs. You have to determine distance from rough on your own, but suffice it to say that most any hybrid is going to provide better results than an iron for longer shots from the rough. Use "punch" and apply top spin to advance a bit farther too.

I understand the point of people not liking hybrids, but I personally really can't stand a fast meter (e.g. for me even Rossa's meter is a bit too fast) and out of wedges there is nothing much to choose if one can't tolerate the fast meter (which no relatively cheap balls could bring down sufficiently...) And none of the good wedges are very forgiving either... I guess most of top players either use the most pricey balls or simply learn to live with the fast meter, but for me for the time being, the best solution seems a hybrid and 2 Tour starter wedges.

For those who tried both Burner 19 and K15 / Rapture 21 which one would you advise? (if playing accurately, not from a rough)

Burner seems a bit less accurate, less forgiving and with a bit faster meter, but it's cheaper and most importantly has a significant spin (which I guess could help a lot stopping in Bethpage 15 and similar holes...)
