I like the new addition to the Ready Gos, but could I recommend to take this a step further. Meaning add the same thing to all tourneys. To me it will lessen the frustration some players may have in feeling they'll never beat some of the better players here. I know most of the "aces" around here and know that even though all you see is 20 something and 50 something scores, they are in fact human like the rest of us, they just don't post the bad scores. It may be a little embarrassing for them to post WDs and have everyone see them, but in the long run think it will give a whole lot of people a better understanding that they have a better chance in tourneys than they may first realize.

That's a good call, but in the long run it wont change anything. Here's what should be done, and this falls into fixing the tiers. Pretty simple and straight up. The folks who shoot mid50s to mid60s should be masters, mid60s to mid70s pro, mid 70s to mid 80s amateur, mid 80s to mid 90s(you name it), and anything after that could be the hack section,or, we could have another section just for beginners. As it is, even as a master I don't stand a snowballs chance in hell of winning a tournament! You're dreaming if you think otherwise, or you shoot constantly in the low 60s. Or as one fellow put it you guys are somehow cheating, which I doubt very seriously! So with that said WGT should seriously put some thought into my formula and maybe put it to a round table discussion or something simular to that. This is a good game to play and there is not a whole bunch of room for improvement, but, I'd like to enter a tourney where I have at least a 50/50 chance of winning as apposed to a .5 percent of placing in the top 5. Are there any others who agree with me, let's hear who you are and keep posting about this. I know the top players won't like this because it won't be easy credits for them anymore, but they should put their 2 cents worth in also.

iukine... with all due respect, even the pre-addiction-treated Tiger Woods had less than a 50/50 chance of winning any tournament. His record easily bears that out. But I hear you about having a better chance to potentially post a win. Although you must consider how many you are playing against.

Hey there doublemocha, yeah the 50/50 thing is just a exaggerated figure, the important one is the .5, where that is also exaggerated, except in the wrong way. What do you think of the tier spacing? Sometimes I tend to get carried away when it comes to numbers, but I think I got my point across.  Hopefully  the tier thing is something they'll look at. But I think that implementing such a system will eliminate some of the folks that have a tendency to withdraw because they assume there is no chance to compete let alone win in a tourney or otherwise. I've been down while playing before(let's say +4 strokes) and been able to get back to even or so, I know I can do it. But some folks don't have that belief in their abilities and just throw in the towel. ecspecialy when one of your competitors shoots 10 strokes better than you on an average. Let me know about the tier thing. Aloha.

I've been here forever and have finished in 1st place in the regular tournaments all of 1 time (actually a premium tournament).

The regular tourny payouts suck, but the RG payouts are very nice and you don't need to shoot 29/58 in order to finish in the top 5.   I have plenty of 2nd-5th place finishes, and I haven't shot 29 or high 50's in any of them.

    PS: Nice idea ncviz.

I think that is a good idea, getting to pro after several months of hard work my average kept dropping finally settleing between 68 to 70, now a fine round of 29 set me in first place in a tournament for a win. Then all hell broke loose I was made a master which I was not ready for but just because I had a nice round I moved up. To me this is not right. Maybe after shooting a bunch of low scores I could see master coming but not after 1 good round.

They should also have a tier for seniors, you know guys that can't see well and don't have the reflexes they once had.

It surprises everyone including myself when we make master.  There are so many facets to this game and we need to take the time to practice and to understand what we are doing when it comes to course management, balls, clubs, rough, sand, and courses.

I been making several changes to my game lately to improve.  Just starting to see the results.

Use the unlimited tournaments as a training tool, and practice.  I can not stress, that practice is the key.

yeah but what the heck, I can post all scores, then you play these ready to go's, and, wth, the wind is way off and very hard to play good, I post almost all my games, and I mean 98% of them, except when the stupid meter messes you up, then to pay to play these tourneys, and wind very strong, and way off, why waist the $$ to play then, I know some smart a.. is gonna say then don't play them then, but they can at least make it fair for all instead of making it so hard, that you can't or won't even post a game, I always shoot average games most of them around par, but when your scoring +7 after 5 holes, wth is wrong, I know it's not me, most of the time, it's the meter issue, and the rapture Irons they say they fixed.  that the only thing they can say is to clear this , clear that, Fix the dang thing, along with the rapture Irons, but yet they can add new sporty clothes that, If your stupid enough to buy that crap, more power to you, no wonder why tibbets got out, seems like there more interested in selling stupid crap, then fixing the real problems. all people been complaining, about this for as long as I've been on here, and still can't get a real answer on any of it, but clear this clear that, Clear your stuff and maybe this might end up being a great game, but like WGTALEX, AND MR.ADMIN. they try to show you they bought the clothes, and the balls, clubs, you know they didn't pay for them.. and latley in the forums I see people swearing so bad, and we all know that's not allowed,  because there's kids playing on this site, but that's ok, But now I see why there telling wgt.to @@@@$$#&@^ off, because they can't ever answer a question , that makes any since, but yet were all still having problems with the meter, the wind, and the clubs, I saw 1 guy flipping them all off, and telling them what to do with this game, that's not right, but I understand there feelings, it's crap to put new clothes, new sky caddy thing that really don't help to do anything, and yet , since the update, I haven't seen any of these WGT people say a thing about any of it, Or explain why no new St. andrews yet.. or when or anything about why they just tease us with the helicopter  photo's , come on I like this game, so fix all these things that are making people mad.. Hopefully everyone stops buying stuff for 6 months and see the pain we are all having .. ok sorry I just had to get that out, even that I don't post much on here I do read the forums, WGT it's my birthday,so I've been drinking a little bit, but I'm a very disappointed player 2, maybe time 2 look into tigerwoods game, at least they have the course there playing  on this week, ok I said enough, sorry
