Shot my age last week, it was a shame having to leave the course after the 13th hole though.

    ncviz:
most of the "aces" around here........just don't post the bad scores

I noticed this as well in the RG's.  Kinda funny because unless he/she totally collapsed they should still be able to grind out a -2 or -3 and at least get their investment back.  But not like the credits matter since most of these players have enough credits to kill a horse.

On a personal note, I don't WD from RG's anymore.  Because despite occasionally posting a bogey or 2 whether it be user error or meter related, I know I'll probably get low enough to break even.  I guess if I threw up 2 snowmen on a 9 hole RG that might change my viewpoint.  I do WD from weekly's sometimes because the competition is so harsh that if I don't go real low I'm not winning anything.   I don't mind being posted for the WD there and it would be nice to see others that do.

So what's the benefit of only posting a fraction of one's scores in order to maintain an avg under 60 and only clear trophies next to one's name?   Are they worried they might lose their e-endorsements?   Could they lose their VIP status in the WGT grill room?

I know that increased meter issues lately have led to increased scores among most players on here.  So what.  I agree with you that it would be nice for everyone to see who is posting those scores consistently and who are just posers.  Maybe I'll eventually get my avg that low and maybe I won't.  Its not that important to me because in the grand scheme of things its just online golf and last time I checked a low avg in that gets you bupkus.

I with you for exposing those players that utilize PED's (performance enhancing dropouts)

    Cheers :)

First off, Happy Birthday badtigger, and many more to come I hope. But to stay with the original thought here is the people that quit before the game is through. My idea was to make it so even if they have a few bad shots that they won't be so inclined to quit, make it so there is some glimmer of hope that they can at least compete with the other players. Thus my suggestion on tier stuctures, to play with folks that have about the same skill levels. That  would also take care of the seniors (which I'm not far from) and their skill level too. I know for me, if I'm 3-4 strokes over in a tourney, I may be able to make back to par or below, there is no way I can hope to even challenge one of the leaders (who may be 12 under par). Even the playing field is what I'm saying. If I'm playing a game against someone with a similiar skill level I may have a chance to come back and give my opponent a contest. And not simply be blown out of the water.

That's a good start anyway, Aloha to all keep your eyes on the meter.

I've been known to crack 30 and 60 now and then, and withdraw from my fair share of ready gos.  Lets say I have 4 or 5 ready gos open to play.  And i start off a round with a nice meter-stop lost ball.  Sure i could maybe grind my way to a 32 and get a top 5, but I usually just say eff-it and move on the to the next one.  Or if I check a leaderboard on an 18 holer and see I need a 61 to win some decent credits, once my round is going so poorly that I can't reach that I'll just quit.  Not so much a matter of me not wanting to post bad scores, its a matter of no longer caring about the round.

Thanks for getting back on topic BB...

Ok guys, I feel like I need to say stay on the topic the thread was intended for, that means...

This isn't about Tier separation, or cheaters, or whatever else, it's about just about wanting to see whether people are posting or withdrawing in all tourneys.

I really don't appreciate my thread being turned into something that bashes the game, which I happen to like. If you want to talk about something different start your own thread!

I here ya and if I was as credit rich as you are I'm might be singing to a different tune on the RG's.  I mentioned that I do that on weeklies that are free.  A sticky/spikey meter can sure ruin a good round.  At this point I'm losing 1 ball per every 18 holes it seems.

I don't think its a matter of caring that perhaps you dropped out because I'm sure the other participants appreciated the charity.  Its more a matter of public knowledge on the tournys.

For other players to understand that someone as good as yourself doesn't always light up the leaderboard is a good thing for the spirit of competition.  In addition, I suppose a 62 avg player who posts say 95%++ of their scores might be able to see that a 60 avg player posts a smaller percentage of theirs and know that perhaps they are the better player.

It just would be nice to see who is WDing.

And feel free to channel your charitible nature if I ever draw you again in match play.  I sure hope my previous 100 credit donation was recycled into a diamond trophy and not a WD, haha ;)

If you're referring to me I wasn't trying to ruffle your feathers just express a viewpoint.  If my post upset the spirit of your thread then let me know and I can simply delete them both.

sorry nivic, it wasn't meant to interrupt, your lead, there nivic, but I'm very upset, I play well enough to post all my games, and I'm sure you have not posted all yours, but that's besides the point, all I want to see is as I know you know all the wgt people answer some of these un answered, questions since the last up date, they all hiding on us, maybe you can answer that since there all on your list, but when someone at least shoots par or better all the time, then 2 shoot +7 after first 4 or 5 holes, come on, It's not the browsers or the caches, it's on there end, I have less then a year old computer, so anwser that 1, since wgt won't,and ty oakthetoke, for that help, cause there's no one on here that is perfect, they , we all cheat, exspecialy these 1's that keep a 60 under ave.
