LMAO. Been there, done that. That's very close to the CTTH shot at SA which is a little more right than that. That putt is surprisingly straighter than it looks BUT that's one of the spots that I'm betting a majority of players that know how to will use the punched wedge.

I putt it and have made it once. Down in 2 from there is nice.  :-)

LOL, my friend Jim & almost everyone have been in this situation.

Only two choices; you can hit full or you can putt. Many advanced players would hit full (simply easier), but if you want to learn how to putt in such hazardous situations, the best is simply to putt hitting right off the breaks & hope breaks will push your ball left somewhere on the green & hopefully close to the pin.

Not so, jw. The wedge shot on the green is very much in play. It is a legal shot albeit one that not many use. That position is exactly the place to use it if you know how.

I tried to hit the Wedge shot from almost that position on that

green, and the WGT game forced me to miss even when I

made a correct swing.   It acted like I never made contact

with the ball.  It barely rolled 2 yards.  I haven't pursued that

shot again because I didn't know if the game would let you

    hit it.

I have only made the shot maybe 3 times,   don't usually try it unless I have no faith in my ability to lag the putt close enough.
