Spin on the ball off the Tee

  With a strong wind at my back if I put backspin on the ball I get extra carry but less roll.  When I use no backspin I get less carry and more roll.  What is the general concensus on getting the most yardage with my old G10 8.0 degree 270yd. driver.

  Is the concensus

   

  For full head wind, lift the spin dot JUST up off centre or no spin at all

   

  All depends on where you want to land and how far you want to go..
