Why isn't there a  Callaway ball with a fast meter?

I and many others(apparently not enough :) ) have been wondering the same thing...starting with the "legend" balls, which I`ve never tried due to Only the slow metered balls on offer.

The age old answer to the age old question- Why do/don`t they...?...$$$$  ;-)

I totally agree they have so many gliches in this game and the wind and meter are thebiggest problems a BOYCOTT maybe nescessary if they dont want to pay attention to what we say we pay and play not them they just sit and collect on us all

My only point is that, as you evidently understand, since I have been playing with cheap dross, how come I got to 'Master' in the first place, and why were my rounds good enough to get me there and yet now I would struggle to compete at any level.

I wondered whether my tightness was an obstacle?

I will observe however the decline in my performances on this game do seem to imitate my performances in real golf- my clubs are cheap and after initial success (15 years ago) it's been a downhill slide!:)

So does anyone think that maybe the amount of money spent is directly proportionate to the bugs/glitches/meter issues suffered?

Were this to be the case then by Chris's observation the less you spend (free balls) the less the meter acts up. LOL, I seriously doubt that's the case.

FWIW most meter issues seem to occur when something important is on the line, like a RG or tournament. Rarely does the meter act in those scenarios like it does in simple, solo ranked rounds. Go figure.  :-)

Thats spot on, you rarely get a meter issue in normal free tournaments, only in challenge matches or Ready go's where there's credits riding on it.

And Tour Reject, i'd buy new balls straight away, they help so much with spin

You got there because you were good enough. You were at the top of the Tour Pro class and deserved it. Now your tolerances are lessend and you have to adapt by getting even better. You could get clubs to help or do better with what you have. There's no question the equipment makes a difference but it's not impossible with what you have.

Come back and read your post 3 months from now or after the Opens happen. You'll laugh because you will probably be saying the same thing about being a Tour Master. LOL.

The game is pushing you, ab, and you're having to play better. As for being tight, I would say prudent instead. You get out of this game whatever you choose to and choosing not to spend $ is not a bad thing. :-)

    WGTadmin2:

The meter performance is affected by a multitude of variables and affects every player differently due to their location, internet service provider, computer, what is installed on the computer and the settings on the computer/ browser.

    ....

If the meter is performing better or worse at a particular moment it is probably due to congestion between the server and your machine or...

This being said we are actively investigating ways to improve the meter.

I am telling you, with 100% confidence, that if the servers and the clients internet connection is affecting the meter, then your guys at the dev team are doing something wrong.

Can you give me one good reason why the client would need to talk to the server while I am attempting to make a HIO at Kiawah 17? In real golf, anyone that interrupts a player with as a much as a cough is thrown in the nearest lake.

     WGT Please consider this:

Obtain higher quality servers and connections, place them in REGIONALLY strategic locations and require that clients must ping lower than say, 220 ms, or they need to connect to a server within their own region to get lower ping....how bout that? Multiple players pinging the servers over 250 ms is the cause of lagg i cannot be convinced differently as i have had several gaming servers throughout the years, and thats just how it is....

Problem solved..... feel free to donate lotts of credits to my account for elite collection items ty.....
