i was taking my putt on the green with my green ball,my next putt i had a basic white one,can wgt just take them back?,,,,,,help.
All balls except the free one have a life. It's what that little scale is in the lower right of your game screen. When it turns red you're about to lose the ball as you approach the end of the life of the ball. If you don't have more of the same in your bag you will get the free ball, even if it's in the middle of a game.
That's also why you kept getting the Last Ball message. You can buy more right then and there if you say yes and they will be in your bag.
