I really cotton this yarn you've spun woven intricately into the fabric of the initial post.

Very well said, Lizzie. couldn't have tiped it better myself ;-)

But... but... I have to pull you up on 1 thing.

I think somebody should organise a campaign to have cows ( along with their cow pats) and lined shoes banned from all golf courses.

    It just ain't right!!

All the quitters I have played with cocme from Norway . I guess they think they are special enough to do what ever they want and everyone has to take it. They are so wrong. Every other country I had played with has been gr8 except for the Norwegians.

Cows I can deal with as long as I get a free drop if my ball lands in poo.

I won't play in Florida tho cause they got gators in the water hazards, they take their hazards seriously down there!

As for what the OP stated I tend to agree with you. Having lived in other non-english speaking countries I can tell you that AMERICANS are probably the most universally reviled tourists around.

I have even heard some remarking "Why can't they speak english?" Makes me want to bury my head in shame that I am from the same country.....

But thankfully they are the exception not the norm, and to all those EXCEPTIONAL people I say F/U very very much.....

    Danny

I two Lizzie have to, pull you up by, one thing.  Your footsie index whiley updown side and shaken.

No no no that just, isn't write.

I too three have to pull, you, up on one thing.  You missy-spelled "over ride" miscorrectly.  It is in fact one, word.

But ya, I have to agree, the OP's statement was rather a generalisation; I have played with many and their attitude is no different than anyone elses.  Everywhere you will find good apples and bad apples.  But even in the bad apples there is some goodness somewhere, you just have to look for it a little harder.  You shouldn't varnish everyone with the same broom, as the saying goes.

i think   ,i make an effort ,in being polite with all players no matter where they are from ,in the long run like mine, i notice good polite respecfull players tend to stick together, and become friends i am lucky  i had nothing to say againts my American friends, and like in life there is always the 2%  of people with no class.    They end up playing by themself :)  good golf  good day all
