I'm with you mrenn on clearing out browser cookies and cache in a more timely manner. And clearing the disc and temp files is a good idea too.
Last night I was playing a CC tournament at Kiawah and it had been a few weeks since I cleared my Firefox cache. I start to notice my clubs having no precision or forgiveness as well with the putter. Putts were not tracking to the hole, shots were flying off the target line, no matter how much I dinged a shot including putts.
So I shot a 32 on the front nine and was noticing inconsistencies, but not with things like camera views, and the loading times were great too. I loaded another game and shot a 33 all along thinking there wasn't something right. Then it dawned on me to clear my cache that had 810 MB of files in it. I loaded a third game and shot a 29 with ease. The clubs precision and forgiveness returned and they held the line perfectly, even on missed ding hits. I could of shot a 28, but I missed a off-ding seven foot putt on hole eight.

I wouldn't rib mrenn for his post. It makes perfect sense. A lot of players just can't except the fact it's their high dollar computer causing them problems and they have to put the blame of their poor game-play on WGT or something other then what the problem really is. Some people need to be more endurable towards this game. A lot (98%) of problems people experience with this game is the fault of their own computer. Like a horse pill, a lot of people are going to find this statement hard to swallow.
