  Some impressive drives being put up there.

  It seems to me that when the Legend tees were put into place at STA my driving distance went down there.  From the Legend tees I seem to manage to always hit into a mound or hill when I have a good wind.  

  I got my 400 yarder a while ago (400.1) so once you do it the thrill sort of goes away.  I did have one the other day that went about 415 but the last 2 feet took it into the rough.

  Cabo #5 seems to be where it's at lol  424yds!  thought I was going to roll into rough.

  had one this morning, 10th hole at St Andy's 404 yds, really wicked bounce from the drive and a kick, into the fescue through the green so doesn't count i spose!!

  406 yards... don't even remember what course it was much less the hole but it didn't reach the green i did make bird i remember that and yes it was in the FW

  had i known about this thread i'd have saved the replay lol... i imagine there have been lots of them but it took me 3 years to get mine

  Examples of joy? Hitting a 401yd drive that stops on the fairway. Enjoying the shock and disbelief. Remembering to save the replay.

  Examples of sadness? Realizing it was during an Alt Shot game, and will not be recorded in your stats, and thus will not qualify you for the 400+ club.

  Kittywumpus, I’ve given you the drive because though it’s not in your stats, you have saved the shot and it is on the fairway just short of the green for all to see.

   

  Sorry ANDWHY67, like you said, if it’s in the rough it doesn’t count.

  As for your shot were you hit the flagpole and bounced back off the green, dun that myself a few times.

  Wondering if I did an oops.  When I first picked up the Covert Drivers I hit one off the tee at St. Andrews that went exactly 400 yards.  Didn't think to save it at the time but it is recorded in my stats.  If I remember right it was still on the Fairway or on the Green.  As I didn't actually save the shot do I still qualify?
