    Guess I shoulda stayed at tour pro!  My guess is wgt is trying to level the playing field

    I was quite happy at Tour Pro but then I reached the level you can buy a G20 driver at and tour pro suddenly became relatively easy. After a 65 at Congressional I found myself in the Master tier.

    As I've said elsewhere I think I was lucky in that I'd upgraded my equipment about two days before. I think most the differences are psychological though. I've been shooting 69s and 70s rather than 65s and 66s but it's still under par.

    Wow, I just finished St Andrews 3, 3, 2 on 16, 17, 18 for a personal best round of 62. Bit unexpected...

    Managed to drive 360 yards at the Road Hole which helped a lot! My driving average for the round was 300.42.
