josephk2317:
I am a male player and have both avatars and prefer the female at times over th male.
And here are some of the reasons.
1) Putting meter is different and sometimes better ( Male 5 positions on putter Female 6 positions on putter) I even sink more long distance putts with the female avatar.
2) Better distance with my driver and woods playing with the female avatar at times.
3) I would rather look at the back side of a female then the rear of a man for 30 consecutive days playing on here. And no I do not get free balls, I have my own supply.
4) My Wife laughs at the fact that I'm playing with a female avatar AND it looks something like her, which makes playing less stressful when I'm not always hitting the ding and having a bad day playing in general.
For the ones that are using these avatars along with sexy photo's of ( ) fill in the blank, just to get free stuff; well that's another topic.
Happy Golfing!
I have heard this a few good times before joseph. I have a community wide question then. I have asked this several times before.
WHY does WGT have the game programmed like this? IF this is the case, and the "putting" is the advantage, I don't understand. I can understand "driving" being the advantage, but putting? Keep in mind that WGT spends millions of dollars to make the game as close to "real" golf as it gets.
Scenarios: The Drive - Mind you, there are women that will out drive men, but for the most part, I think men have a definite advantage off the tee.
Putting - On the green - men and women are equal.
Point of the matter - why then is the game programmed for a woman avatar to have a distinct putting advantage and not less of advantage off the tee?
This being said, I don't know ,maybe a women's avatar drive is programmed to go less than a male avatars drive, giving the scenario they both "ding" there drives.
