Yes, that would be easy enough to implement, BUT (always one of those), with the fact this is a browser-based game and with the added horsepower needed to animate weather or add dynamic weather, it would make this game unplayable for a large percentage of people with lesser computers. Might be cool as an option, but I just don't see it.

Since WGT already overlays the photographs with the avatar, club, ball, divot, and pin

Yes, but the real clouds and the real sky .... Nice graphic, bit it seems to me that for it to be halfway decent, WGT would have to take hundreds of thousands more photos: one set for rain, another for snow and yet another for Canadian geese. Plus they'll somehow have to get the geese to fly to Sandwich and St. Andrews.

Not a problem Leon!  Plenty of commercial flights and they already have their passports.

Yes, they can travel but unfortunately they're on the "no fly" list, following an unfortunate incident in Yellow Knife ... now Ottawa mistrusts the whole bunch.

I think this is both a great and terrible idea at the same time. Great because it would be neat to play in different conditions. Terrible because the last thing this game needs is more 'random' variables. As inconsistent as the effect of wind is now, I cannot imagine how messed up things would get if the effect of rain-soaked greens had to be taken into consideration when putting, or loss of velocity (distance) on drives and approaches if playing on a cold, snowy day.... nevermind the chance of an angry goose grabbing your ball off the fairway.

At the first sign of rain I'd be in the bar.
