Why is it that so few people have interest in country club tournaments?

    Dear Zag,

Indeed, far too many unwanted, unreliable and unfair players are "parked" within a CC, performing no action at all or else trying to grab as much as possible. Such a pity those are hard to identify, and probably even harder to get rid off!

Thx for your comment and till soon!

    Dear David,

The numbers you mentioned in your comment are huge, I am so jeaulous! :)

The system to attract and reach out new members is also good, no surprise that it is working well. In my CC's forum, not even ONE single member (zombie?) has taken the effort to reply, I hope at least one has read it. So I am really questioning myself whether I should bother at all and remain in that (SLEEPY!) CC.

Thx for your comment, hear ya soon!

No problem Voy....A lot of effort is going in to generate interest for sure....We did a quick check last week across our 250 members...Over 80% are playing most days, yet only around 50-70 are playing in the CC events...Big challenge now on to try and find out why this is so??

If you are looking for an active CC / Forum, ours is definately very active in the forum and we have great banter and updates on a daily basis, supporting the weekly events and in recent months started a Hall of Fame listing for the winners of each event..

    Catch you soon

    Cheers

    David

Most people just want to belong to an organized community.

These are a few of the most relative reasons players don't play in CC tournaments.

    -They play at WGTLS

-They spend a lot of time playing Ready-Go's

-Players don't feel their good enough to compete against other CC members

And one of the least looked at reasons people don't play in CC tournaments is, they don't know how to access the CC tournaments from the game-clients drop down menu. Just like a lot of players not knowing where the game settings are located.

Some people are only aware of about 60% of what this game has to offer. Even the players who have been here for awhile aren't fully aware of everything this game offers.

In my CC the guy that runs it creates 10 free tourneys and encourages members to craete tourneys also. I am very active but lately he has been bogarting the 10 spots for free tourneys and it's hard to create one. We play against other CC's also, twice we have since I have been there and both times I had the best score in my CC.

I just started 3-7-12 but I have ben playing golf games all my life so I am a very quick study; after 22 days he came to me and said that someone in the CC had said there was no way I could be posting such low scores and be a TP already so they thought I was a 2nd profile. Now this pissed me off of course so I defended myself and put links where I had spent over 50 bux on clubs and even used to be an admin at an xbox site; I used to review games and have even wrote a strategy guide for 'Links 2004', it can be found at ask.com to this day.

    strategy guide by me(Electro68)

I told him that the person who accused me should report me to WGT so they could check my IP address and he should have had my back before coming to me with this news. He ask me to please stay and said this person must be jealous but ever since I been looking for a club that really wants an active player and does give gifts like balls and such because I live in SC and cannot play premium games. He states in the club forum that he gives gifts but as of  yet I have received one sleeve of wgt balls which I appreciate but I have won

     like 15 club tourneys.

    just me ranting, thx

    Dear DJW,

You know, with even 50-70 playing in CC tournaments, I would be thrilled to see/have that number. You are making your CC more and more tempting, and I am interested!!

    Dear Richard,

Your comment has indeed value and truth in it. Time, low on credits and probably specially ignorance would be amongst the major reasons for not entering/participating CC events/tournaments. Good post, thank you!

    Dear Electro,

Troublesome and unhealthy situation you are facing there. I guess either WGT or you yourself would need to find/create a solution to it. You still wanna stay in or wanna be part of that CC? Good luck!

Thx man, I love this game so I have stayed so far because I like playing CC tourneys and being a part of a good CC but like I said the guys is saying he wants activity but creates tourneys so fast he leaves no time for members to create them, lol. 2 spots opened today and now he fills them w/ 2 18 tourneys at same course, 1 w/ wind and 1 w/out, both standard greens, wth, lmao.

I do play in a league most  weeknights but that's just a match-play single elimination, I would love to find a great CC I can be really active in.
