    Hi caupo70,

Thank you for your suggestion. I admit this club looks good at this time and so do the G20 irons you mention. I'm trying to collate some more credits over the next few weeks and then decide what to go with but I appreciate your comments and probably will buy the wood in the 1st instance.

    My thanks again...........Bob.

I agree that the lvl 59 G20s may be better than the Raptors - I was caught by my former selection.

Keep in mind that a full set of clubs may offer a substancial prize reduction before buying them one after the other. OTOH, you may sell them separately, AFAIS.

    Hi ,

i will try to help you to buy the right clubs. My opinion doesnt mean that this is the perfect equipment , but i hope to help you.

Driver: R11 Taylor Made Level 35 very good driver until Master Tie.

Upgrade: G20 Ping Level 58 best to get more distance ans still a good control.

Irons: R11 Taylor Made Level 35

    Upgrade: Rocketset Level 68

Putter: Ghost Spider Taylor Made slow meter speed very nice putter

    Upgrade: Nike Level 77

    Wedges: Taylor Made 93Yards , 77Yards , 50Yards i dont use the Hybrid prefer

to have 3 Wedges in my bag lol.

    Balls: Callaway

This is what I am Using and I am getting very well with it. I prefer to have a slow meter

    speed. Greetings from Italy!

Thank you alosso and pilota1975. Your comments are appreciated and I've been looking at these club suggestions.

My credits are limited just now and I'm still undecided on best value for money (if I can put it that way) but will decide soon. Managed to get 88 credits today in a survey which helps.

I'll post when I finally do buy, probably in the next few days. My thanks again to everybody who has helped me with this.

    Bob.

    Hi again,

i just took a look at your profil. Level 68 Pro!

if you are limited because of credits i would buy this items:

    Driver G20 Ping Level 59      1.500Credits

    Wedges T.M 93 , 77 Yards       450Credits

Putter Ghost Spider Lev. 35     800Credits

Thats enough ! Forget about the Irons at the moment. But you need some good

balls like Callaway . (very important). Just watch if you can get some for free .

Putter Pal 100Hits to see if you like it is not a bad idea , lol . Greetings from Italy!

For a limited budget, a two-step upgrade policy may be less than optimal.

OTOH, I don't quite agree with pilot's selection.

You are a level 68 Pro, giving you many options though you don't need much (urgently) right now.

For now, a 240/250 yds driver and fitting irons would be optimal. For Master, it should be more, 270/280. Then, high trajectory will help a lot.

Of all clubs available to you, the G20 set is the best IMO, regarding length and trajectory. To me, they are good enough for Master.

You may decide for less now and get some of the big sticks later - your choice.

Putter: My choice was the Taylormade Rossa, good enough for many Legends. There have been some unfavourable reports on the Spyder...

Wedges: A difficult choice if it shall last:

    - two or three clubs?

    - which brand => which length?

Whatever a player choses, it should fit below the irons, lengthwise.

I for one had almost no chance to avoid three wedges:

Z Satin 64° 50 yds, 60° 77 yds, G20 irons starting at 110 yds. The best chance to close the gap was the 54° 98 yds Z Satin. A two-wedge solution might have been 60 - 80 yds (Ping?).

Balls: Depending on personal preferences and budget planning, anything goes between WGT balls and high-level balls like the Callies. The Starter balls are quite unfavourable but still playable.

Thank you alosso.........your breakdown of choices is great. I have the Taylormade Rossa and need to add a wedge I think. I'd like to add a driver, a 3 wood and /or a set of irons. I just can't decide on what to go for, the irons or the driver and wood.

Along with a wedge, I'd be close to using my credits if I have enough that is. I may wait  a week or so and then upgrade but my fingers are itching to spend just now........lol.

    My thanks again.............Bob.

Get yourself a wedge, the rest depends...

The G20 driver for the fun of it, the 3WD as the down-to-earth solution. Nothing as the accountant's choice, waiting for the full set.
