HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!  Is WGT paying attention?  Just make this a 17 hole course... Or do what they do when they use temporary greens when they're fixing the greens and give anyone an automatic 2 putt...  EARTH TO WGT- WHEN GOOD PLAYERS ARE AVERAGING A 3 PUTT FROM INSIDE 10 FEET SOMETHING IS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!    I haven't had less than 3 putts on this PIECE OF *** hole for a month...

Please bring out the next (non-tru golf) course, so I can stop playing this dump!

You're not gonna believe this, but I TWO PUTTED the 4th green today.. I am so proud!!  Is there a prize for that?  Maybe a dozen Callaways?  Just asking..

To make up for this miracle, I hit a wonderful tee shot on the next hole, to 7 feet from 194.. but, alas, it had 6 inches of drop, and, you won't believe this, but the dots were WRONG.. can you believe it?  On Whistler?  3 putts later, they had their payback... fukkkers...

    My view on Whistler:

Play it, then leave for a bit.  Sanity prevails.

Play it daily, and your family WILL commit you:)

No I wont be doing that, I've played this course once, once is enough.

I've already said that it looks ***,lost ball when it bounced on fairway bla bla...

Any golfer will tell you that a golf course or a particular hole is a level playing field..

Do you think Tiger would've ranted about that green where he putted that amazing shot at masters if he missed it? No of course not, its the same for everyone!

Yes, but before said Golfer can speak with words on a condescending manner of the ease of a course/hole, said Golfer should have more than than a blitz round under his belt on the particular course, ya think?

Are you speaking for yourself in this statement?  Its only once i've 3 putted here, and that was my own sloppy mistake of being to casual and not even aiming for a short putt.

Always double check with chip view, i guarantee you maybe putter view might show no moving dots (flat) yet chip view might show a 100 mph moving dots and therefore a very steep break  (right side of pin at #4 for sure). So if the 2 views are the same you can go with the putter view, but if chip is different to putter view then trust the chip and go with it.  I know it might be hard aiming left of cup when green shows no break in putter view, but you can trust the break you get in chip view and go with it.  Makes a heck of a difference at Cabo & Whistler.

Wow, i just don't know what it is with me and Whistler, i seem to keep winning the $2 Ready Go there whatever score i post.   i've lost count this month how many times i've won there or come 2nd and yes, the greens are very frustrating in places but if you were used to my local village golf course here in Wales where they have to have wire fencing round the greens to keep out the sheep and need rock climbing equipment to reach one side of the green to another, then Whistler is a piece of cake!.

Any way, its down to WGT whether a putt goes in or not so we just have to hope the lottery of deviation is with us.  Example: hole #11 at Whistler, 5 foot putt, decent right to left break, enough break to have to aim a cm right of hole, the putt goes more or less straight and doesnt get no effect from break.  I print screen, go back to exact same spot  in another back 9 round, take my time to make sure i'm in exact same location, take the same aim, same power, and what do you know? PUTT GOES IN!

I didn't say everyone is 3-putting..   I don't have the patience to take notes about which putts break the way they look and which one's don't.  At this point I've played the course enough times to have seen almost every short putt possible, and it seems like one day it goes one way, and the next it goes another. Suffice to say I have zero confidence on these greens, so I don't trust anything.  I seem to have an excessive number of putts inside 10 feet with anywhere from 4-6 inches of downhill slope, so every putt is just died towards the hole.. that will always be a crapshoot with all the odd slopes around the holes.  I always get a kick out of looking at the distance of made putts at the end of my round.. most times I'm averaging less than 3 feet per hole, and there have been rounds where it's less than 2 feet.  I'm shooting in the low-to-mid 60's, so if I could make something outside 5 feet I'd have a handle on this course.

I use the chip view all the time, especially on this course.  Unfortunately I don't think it's made much difference for me.
